diversity in their workplace. Equality and diversity are two major aspects which gives
opportunities to a business or company which improve workability of their workforce. Top-level
management in each business should consider equality and diversity in their business
environment to properly increase performance of existing employees.

LITERATURE REVIEW
According to Bowl (2018) equality and diversity management plays great role in
increasing performance level of employees in an organization. Currently many companies or
business has taken various steps towards properly implementing equality and diversity aspects in
their workplace. These aspects are very important in improvement of workability and talent of
employees in workplace.
As illustrated by Jayaweera and McCarthy (2016) top-level management in each
company should systematically manage equality and diversity in their business environment,
because this step will help to company for taking effective work from their workforce.
Management of equality and diversity support to companies for removing various issues from
workplace, like discrimination and conflicts etc. Those organizations have gained more profit
which properly following concepts of equality and diversity in their workplace, each company or
business highly need to follow these in their daily operations to gain huge profit in respective
market.
RESEARCH METHODOLOGY
Research methodology is the most appropriate tool to complete a research project. There
are two types of research methodology, the first is qualitative method and the second one is
quantitative method. In this research project qualitative research method will be used. For
collecting data to this project, there are primary and secondary techniques of data collection will

be used. On the other side, thematic techniques also will be used in this research project to
properly analyse collected data. There are 10 employees of Tesco will be taken to complete
sampling process, in which random sampling technique will be used.
ANTICIPATED OUTCOMES
This research project will help in knowing different productive roles of equality and
diversity in the workplace. Businesses or companies can easily understand actual value of
equality and diversity management through this project. This research project will support in
dealing with various barriers which negatively impact this management in any business
environment. At the end all companies and business can capable to improve talent and skills of
their workforce through this project. These are some major factors which shows the importance
of this research project.
