This report presents the findings of a research project conducted on equality and diversity within Tesco, based on data collected from 20 employees. The research explores various themes, including the experience and tenure of managers, the importance of equality and diversity in the workplace, benefits such as improved cultural insight, and the impact on employee turnover. The study also identifies major characteristics of equality and diversity, effective strategies for building a diverse workforce, challenges faced, and compliance with the Equality Act 2010. The interpretation section highlights that treating all employees fairly promotes equality and diversity, creating a positive environment where everyone respects each other. It also emphasizes the importance of equal opportunities, setting clear guidelines, preventing biases, avoiding stereotypes, and educating managers to improve equality and diversity within the organization.
