Introduction
Global Warming as the term suggests has been one of the burning trends of the
modern world. The different elements related to global warming has affected the world in a
cruel manner. Like most of the other countries, Australia faces a huge amount of significant
environmental as well as economic impacts from the changes in the climate across a large
number of business sectors. The predictions made by the global warming and environmental
experts have suggested that Australia will be one of the worst suffering countries from the
impact of global warming. Australia being an island continent faces imminent threat from the
effects of global warming as the rise in the water level threatens the country from going
underwater in just a few years. As majority of the large and well known cities of the country
are located at the coastal areas, the rise in the levels of the sea directly have an impact upon
the majority of the Australian population.
Apart from this the rise in the temperature of the country further increases the threat
as the experts have predicted an average rise of minimum 1-6 degree increase of the current
average temperatures. The increase in the greenhouse concentration and the annual average
temperature rise can lead to a variety of environmental changes that directly threatens the
country. Different kinds of reports related to the environmental concepts and theories have
highlighted climate change projections. This are generally related to different kinds of
variables of climate which consists of climatic changes like rainfall, temperature and many
other similar factors. The primary industries of the country that includes the likes of
agriculture, fisheries, forestry have been at the receiving end of the sensitive and tough
conditions of the weather. The changes in the weather conditions have made life challenging
for the population involved in the primary industries of the country. The increase in the
drought conditions and the extreme changes in the temperature have led to various kinds of
problems that leads to deforestation and loss of agricultural lands. The changes in
temperature has also affected other industries of the region.
The following report has been prepared in a systematic way that has addressed the
different areas of the organization. The study has provided a number of research articles and
papers that have been based on the impacts of global warming on the different perspectives
based in the island continent of Australia. The research has provided the different impacts
related to the global warming. At the very beginning the impact of the international students

of Australia has been provided followed by the impact of global warming on the farming
industry and the logging industry. The different elements and perspectives related to the
impact of the industry has been shown accordingly. The most interesting part of the study has
been the providence of the role of the NGO’s on Global Warming and their role in the
protection of the sea life and also their failure in such perspectives. Last but not the least the
study has provided the disasters in the mining industry of Australia as a result of the global
warming. The presentation of all these elements in a systematic manner is key to the proper
success of the study.
Literature Review
Introduction
The literary review provides an integral part to the construction of a research study as
it takes into account, the different kinds of the perspectives related to the topic of the study in
a constructive manner. The most important element of the following research is the
consideration of the different research papers and articles that has been based on the topic of
the study. The selection of the different research papers and journals have been conducted
based on Global Warming. The global warming and the industry effectiveness has been
prepared to address the impact of the global warming on the students studying in Australia as
well as the different forms of other life forms in the form of flora and fauna of the island
continent of Australia. The literature review has been conducted by selecting a number of
different papers and has been presented in the form of an annotated bibliography process. The
annotated bibliography process starts from the next part of the review.
Global warming and its impact on the perception of international students
Global warming already has posed to be one of the major and largest threats to the
sustainability of the global population, with a huge rise in temperatures across the world. The
sudden rise in temperature has led to different adverse climatic changes with the most
important one being the melting of the Atlantic ice which directly threats countries like UK
and Australia which are supposed to be totally drowned in water within the next 100 years
(Boon 2010). Two of the major researches on the following subject can help address the
research issue.
As global warming is an overall structured phenomenon, it is important for the
students studying in Australia to have a clear and strong analysis of the different impacts of

the sudden changes in climate. A number of researchers and different government and
independent social organizations have carried out research surveys to get the perception of
the students currently studying in Australia. Most of the studies have revealed the strong
sense of idea among the students of the country to have a proper idea of climate change and
the different negative impacts of such kinds of the changes (Boon 2010). According to,
Rosentrater and Burke (2017) the presence of a high level of awareness among the students
of Australia on climate change clearly suggests that the students are quite well aware of the
different areas of the climate change and the impact of these changes on their daily activities.
It is highly important for the educational institutions of Australia to ensure that the students
receive a formal education or training regarding the impacts of climate changes and act in a
positive manner to ensure that they are well aware of the different kinds of the changes. The
presence of a formal education will help the student community of Australia to take up
necessary steps that will be addressing the different climate change issues and reducing the
negative effects of such problems and issues.
Responses of Farmers to Global Warming
Agriculture forms a major part in the global perspectives of the industry and farmers
are an integral part to the development of a sustainable agriculture. The presence of a
sustainable agricultural plan by the farmers can lead to a successful implementation of plans
that can easily address the global warming issues. The research has again selected two
secondary studies that has been able to meet the demands of the following research. The
changes in the global climate has been one of the most burning trends of the modern times. It
has had serious effect on the farming practices of Australia. The farming society has been at
the receiving end of most of such issues as the changes in the climate has been the main
reason for the decrease in the farming production across the globe. Different reports suggest a
huge downfall of the global agricultural produce across the globe. The he increase in the
greenhouse gases has led to the rise of a number of different negative impacts for the farming
business (Fleming and Vanclay 2010).
The long term shifts in the annual averages and the seasonal changes of the rainfall
levels of Australia have been one of the major issues for the farming industry. It is seen that
the seasonal changes and the unexpected differences in the rainfall levels have directly
affected the production rate (Robertson and Murray-Prior 2016). There has been other
changes in the climate with a huge rise in the summer temperatures in the island continent.
The changes in the heat levels and the effects from el-Niño has been the other major factors

which have directly affected the farming. It is important for the farmers to address the
concerns of the farming in a systematic and sustainable manner. The addressing of the areas
in a systematic and sustainable manner can be key to the success of the farming in the coming
days. It is important for the farmers to try out scientific farming practices and adopt feasible
techniques to utilize the available land in the most efficient manner (Robertson and Murray-
Prior 2016). Thus Australian farmers will face a tough time in the coming days due to the
negative effects of global warming.
Ngo’s response to the impact of global warming on sea life in Australia
The NGO’s plays a major role in the roles and responsibilities of the organization and
the country towards the addressing of global warming changes. Two of the papers based on
the same subject has been selected here to get a deep understanding of the same. Similar to
the humans, all other aspects of life are affected in the same manner as a result of the
perspectives and elements of global warming. The incidents of global warming and the
negative effects of the warming have taken a toll on a large percentage of the marine life of
Australia. The global warming process generally stresses the different ecosystems of
Australia as there is a significant rise of temperatures, shortage of water and increase of
destruction across the marine life of the country (Hopkins Bailey and Potts 2016). The most
important natural icon of Australia, The Great Barrier reef has been adversely affected as a
result of the different changes in the global warming.
Different studies conducted upon the destruction of the Great Barrier Reef has
provided negative and threatening results. The results clearly suggests the extinction threat of
every one species in six. There are different other species of the marine creek which also
faces the threat of extension (McDonald 2016). The impacts of the marine creek will lead to
other negative effects as a large number of marine species uses these creeks as their natural
environment for survival. The gradual extinction of the creek will certainly push these species
to an imminent danger in the coming days. The role of the NGO’s have been in question for
the past few years as they have been mostly involved in formal events and activities to
prevent such loss, but have actually failed to check such kind of loss in a practical manner
(Pfautsch and Gray 2017). The absence of any practical binding from the part of the NGO’s
can be destructive in nature.

Response of logging industry to the impact of deforestation on wildlife
Logging has been a major problem for most of the globe as it has led to deforestation
which is another major reason for global warming (Evans 2016). The research here deals with
similar two topics that has been able to address the solutions effectively. Deforestation has
been one of the major issues in the recent times as large scale lands in different continents
have been lost or are being gutted down to clear land for construction or farming activities.
The unscientific practice of deforestation has led to different kinds of the major global issues.
The vanishing of different forest lands and the gradual removal of the forest areas have led to
the imminent threat of landslides, earthquakes and also different challenges from climate
change in the recent future (Evans 2016). The failure to control the effects of climate change
has been painful for the world as because such kind of issues has led to large scale risks. The
conflict in between the forest exploiters and the protectors of the forest have been in a rise
from the last decade. It is seen that the logging industry has been using all their might to
change the landscape just to increase the profit percentage. According to Lambin et al. (2018)
it is important for the logging industry to ensure the practice of scientific and systematic
deforestation process that can address the different issues of the deforestation. The proper
addressing of the deforestation issues can help the management of the business organizations
to ensure the environmental sustainability. It is important for the management of the logging
industry to act responsibly and maintain all the different environmental standards that can be
useful for the sustainability of the nature as well as help mitigate the environment in a proper
and efficient manner. The presence of a global deforestation policy and the maintenance of
the rules and procedure can help in the proper implementation of the policies for the logging
industry.
Disaster relief Ngo’s response to disasters as a result of global warming
The NGO’s generally plays a great role in the disaster relief operations in order to
address global warming. The basic rules of the mining industry provides the different areas
that needs to be addressed by the management of the mining industry of Australia in order to
ensure the success of the company in a proper and efficient manner (Linnerooth-Bayer and
Hochrainer-Stigler 2015). It is important for the mining industry to address the different areas
and develop a proactive approach to address the different issues related to the climate change.
The addressing of the issues will widely depend on the geographic distribution of the mining
companies and the impact of such distribution to the climate, temperature and rainfall of the
area. The temperature rise in some mining areas can lead to the shortage of water and will

lead to problems within the industry. According to, Grech Pressey and Day (2016) the mining
industries therefore must address such problems by the creation of a proper environmental
policy that will be easily able to address the issues of the environment in a proper and
effective manner.
The implementation of the proactive approach to the industry will help the
management of the industry to address the issues in the most proper manner. Some of the
steps are as follows;
a. The proper supply of the necessary climate changes information and the systematic
use of the available resources
b. The proper assurance of the health and safety of the workers of mining in Australia
can help to ensure the success of the business in the most efficient and environment
friendly manner
c. The success of obtaining and maintaining the social licenses is essential for the proper
implementation of the different procedures to address climate change issues
d. The address of the different issues and risks are important for the mining industry to
address different mining business issues related to the changes in the climate

of the global challenges that are currently being faced by the world population due to the
increase in the warming process. The climate change process, whatsoever be the cause, has
made a long lasting impact on the human society and the natural business environment. The

and community of the globe. Australia being an island continent generally has a large
scale threat from the different impacts of the global warming. The natural environment of
the country has been the major element of proof against the backdrop of the climatic changes

the following report. The intensity of the global warming challenges has forced the different
organizations to change and intensify their strategy to face the natural challenges. The
problems in the mining industry and the other forms of industrial sectors of the globe has led
to a mixed process. The changes in all forms of life and artificial systems has led to the
authority to think and utilize the available resources and implement the most innovative and
strategic steps which can seriously address the different issues and fight the challenges in a
strong and constructive manner. The report which has provided the different perspectives
related to the impact of global warming on different elements of mankind, business
environment and the natural environments has been informative in nature as it has included
all the different forms of the perspectives related to the subject. The study could have been
more successful with the use of more secondary research articles. However, the presented
research articles has a greater scope and will surely lead the study on the impact of global
warming and changes in climate in other different researches on the same subject in the
future.
