A) RESEARCH DESIGN
Research design
Research design is explained as set of the process and methods used in gathering as well
as analysing variables measures specified in research issue. It is related to overall strategy that
select to integrate various study components in logical manner. This is essential for an
investigator because it helps in determination on issue regarding research in significant way.
Impactful research design mainly developed less bias in the data and this enhanced trust in data
collection accuracy (Basu, 2017). Design that develops error margin in the research is regarded
desired outcome. Different research designs are mention below:
Descriptive research design- In this, an investigator is interested in explaining situation
or case in research study. Thus is theory based research method that developed through
collecting, examining and also presenting gathered data. This research design allow an
investigator to give an insights to provide reason for conducting an investigation. Descriptive
research design is helpful in provide the proper description regarding the employment-based
quota system play in achieving Goal 8 of the 2030 Sustainable Development Goals Agenda for
people with disabilities living in developing countries in detailed manner.
Experimental research design- This identified effect and cause relationship between
different variable in such a manner that independent variable is changed to observe effect on
dependent variable. This is practical research design that contributes to solving issues.
Independent variables are manipulated to monitor chance that has on dependent variable.
Correlational research design- This is non- experimental technique of research design
that assists an investigator in develop relationship among two connected variables. It seeks to
search if the two variables are related in some manner using the statistical analysis while
observing variable (Binder, 2016).
Explanatory research design- It uses thoughts and ideas of an investigator on subject to
explore the theories. An investigation defined aspects of subjects as well as details.
Justification: In conducting the present investigation, there will be exploratory research design
used. This research design will be used because its focus on resolving issues by using the
different sources within less time period. This helps in explore as well as define about the

research subject area. Other than this, it is mainly used to elaborate on unexplored aspects of
specific subject area and also focus on explaining missing pieces.
Research methods
Research methods explained as tools and techniques that an investigator uses for
conducting an investigation effectively. It is the responsibility of researcher to use the correct
research method that help in conducting an investigation effectively. The research methods are
different schemes, process and steps in an investigation (Cleden, 2017). Different research
methods are explained below:
Qualitative method- It relies on the non- numerical and unstructured data. It consists the
filed noted written through an investigator at the time of observation. Its focus on the words
rather numbers, depth rather than the breadth. Result of the qualitative methods are descriptive
and inferences can be developed easily from obtained data. Qualitative investigators gathered the
information from which knowledge can be gained. This is unique in dimensionality of effort. The
main focus of qualitative research is one words rather than the numbers. This is mainly used to
assist inform new concept as well as theories. The qualitative research method provides detailed
information regarding the specific subject area. The qualitative investigators require to take time
to develop the relationships with research subjects and aware of potential. Qualitative data draws
from wide variety of the sources which radically varied in scope.
Quantitative method- The quantitative investigation is procedure of gathering as well as
examining numerical data. This can mainly used to search pattern and also make the predictions
to generalise outcomes to the wider populations. This is necessary to note that the quantitative
methods are more suitable for conducting the research. They are not likely to helpful when they
want to understand detailed reasons for specific behaviour in depth. This is possible to assigning
the numbers abstract the constructs like personal opinions risks that making precise. This method
emphasise the objective measurement as well as the statistical mathematical (Hass, 2017).
Justification- Qualitative research method will be used as it is mainly effective for
understanding perceptions and views. It provides the visions to various issue and assists in
developing theories for getting positive outcomes in research. It assist to search the individual
views and new thoughts. Other than this, reason to using this research approach is that it seeks to
understand the research issue from perspective of local population that includes. It is mainly

effective in obtaining the particular information regarding opinion, values and behaviour of
specific populations.
Sampling
Sample is group of the people, items or objects which are taken from large population for
the measurement. It should be the representative of population in order to assure that they can
generalise findings from research sample to population as whole. Methodology is mainly used to
sample from large population based on analysis being performed but this consists systematic
sampling or random sampling method. To collect the information, researcher select the method
of sampling to choose sample size. The different sampling methods mention below:
Probabilistic sampling- This is explained as sampling technique under which an
investigator selects sample from large population using methods on probability theory. The
probability sampling shows group of the sampling techniques which assist an investigator to
choose units from population they mainly interested in studying. This is probability of becoming
part of sample at the time of single sample (Hillson, 2017). Through combining the different
technique of probability sampling at different research initiatives stages, investigator able to
maintain the confidence that mitigating biases as possible. The need of probability sampling is
that each in population has known and provide the equal chance of getting chosen. It provides
better chance to develop sample that is the representative of population.
Non- probabilistic sampling- It is sampling technique where odds of member being
chosen for sample that can not be calculated. This is explained as sampling technique in which
an investigator chosen the samples on the basis of subjective judgement of an investigator rather
than the random selection. This is based on expertise of investigators. This is carried out through
an investigators and widely for the qualitative investigation. In this sampling method, all
members of population have equal chance of participation in study. It is mainly used for the
exploratory studied. Investigators use this method where this is impossible to draw the
probabilistic sampling because of cost or time consideration.
B) DATA COLLECTION
It is process of collecting and measuring the information on targeted variables in
established system that enables to answer the relevant questions as well as examine outcomes.
Main aim of data collection is to capture the quality evidence which permits analysis to lead to
Document Page
formulation to credible and convincing the answers to questions which have been posed.
Different method of data collection mention below:
Primary method- It is raw data and main source of collection of information. This
information is directly obtained from the first hand sources through using the experimentation,
surveys and observation. The primary data are gathered from source where data originates from
and considered as better type of data in an investigation. Main source of the primary data are
selected as well as tailored to meet requirements or demands of specific investigation (Joslin and
Müller, 2016).
Secondary method- It is desk investigation is research method that consists using the
existing data. This is summarised as well as collated to enhance effectiveness of an investigation.
The secondary investigation consists the published materials in research reports as well as same
documents. Different sources to gather the secondary information are books, websites, online
sources, internet, online articles and others. As comparison to the primary research, secondary
method is time saving and economical because information is already exist.
Justification- In conducting present research, there will be secondary data collection method
used as information and data regarding employment-based quota system play in achieving Goal
8 of the 2030 Sustainable Development Goals Agenda for people with disabilities living in
developing countries. The main behind using this method is that it is time saving and economical
in nature.
C) TIMELINE
In this, Gantt chart is developed through an investigator. It is a kind of bar chart that
illustrates project schedule that show relationship among present schedule status and activities.
In the Gantt chart, activities are divided as per the set period of time (Muller, 2017). This is
project management tool that assisting in planning as well as scheduling project of all the sized
as they are useful for simplifying difficulty project. The main reason behind using Gantt chart is
that this generalise the outcomes by completing activities included in research project within
given time period.
