Research Topic - “To identify the role of HR manager in order to manage the employee’s performance
through appraisal techniques in the airline organization”
The main motive of this research is to identify the role of human resource manager in order to
manage the performance level of their employees with the help of performance at result techniques in
the airline organisation. As per my observation, I have analyse that there are various types of appraisal
techniques utilising by the human resource manager which can helpful to boost be performance level of
the employees such as rating system, Management by objective (MBO), assessment centre method, 360
degree feedback, behavioural anchored rating scale (BARS), human resource accounting method
&psychological appraisal method. All these methods are playing a significant role in order to evaluate
the performance of the airline employees so that all the employees can enhance their performance level
&get constant feedback from their human resource managers. I have also identified that these methods
are very easy to evaluate &on the basis of my study critical incidence &checklist is also important
method. In order to conduct this researcher, I will utilise my strength that is communication skills,
analytical skills, time management skills. With the help of this research project i have analysed that i
am not good in time management so i am looking forward improve my weakness so that i will
complete my research on time. I have observed that the role human resource manager is very
prominent . I have also determined that staffing, creating rules, salary &benefits, retention, training,
employment legislation, &worker's rights are really the seven key tasks of HRM managers. I have
determine that HR managers have the responsibility of building &leading a great team. Human
resource management, job evaluation, hiring the proper people, &managing internal problems are all
activities that the Human resource department is responsible for. on the basis of my prospective , i have
identified that the aspects of Performance Appraisal provides a thorough review of the many types of
performance assessment. Quality is characterized as the use of one's information, abilities, &talents to
complete a certain task. The final score a people receive based on the work obligations he or she has.
There are two forms of work performance: situational &task. I have analysed that task performance is
linked to one's perception of cognitive capacity, but job analysis is linked to one's personality. Certain
characteristics of flawless performance have been found. i have determined that each of company staff
has had to deal with a variety of scenarios in the past. Perhaps their performance isn't reflected in their
financial statements because they were unfortunate &one of their main clients pulled out at the last
minute. Perhaps employees have been sick for a large portion of their time at work. When reviewing
company staff, as a manager, manager should take all of these factors into account. i have also
determined that historically, performance reviews were done using a rank or point system. These
methodologies, nevertheless, do not fully represent the complexities work. I have generalised that is
why new measuring performance methodologies are gradually displacing all old performance appraisal
approaches.
