INTRODUCTION
The report will be discussing a person personal growth and achievements which the person
needs to improve so that they can grow as a person in the field which is liked by them. The
person which will be discussed in the report has done his degree in Electrical and Electronic
Engineering from Ipcowala Institute which flying colours in the field, and he also has a lot of
experience in his field which is a great advantage for the person. There are a lot of experiences
this person wants to collect so that he can become a master in the field. The report is going to
cover the persons continuous development, achievement and learning log and project proposal.
PART 1- CONTINUOUS DEVELOPMENT PLAN
The professional life of the person is very good because he has met a lot of professions when
he was working with Atlanta Electrical P. Ltd. Company which is manufacturing power,
distribution and special type transformers which is the field of the person who has gone there for
experience and there is a lot of learning for4 the person. It is very important for the person to get
a lot of experience in the field before he starts working professionally because there are a lot of
job opportunities in front of the person and experience will help the person top grow more
(Lazar, Feng and Hochheiser, 2017).
The strengths of the person who is interested in power engineering in the subjects of
distribution and transmission it is very good that there is an experience that the person has gained
not just from the internship he has attended but from a lot of other factors in the world which will
help the person to grow when he gets a job which is satisfactory (Coolican, 2017). The weakness
of the person is that he is not willing to look at the other options in his life therefore he needs to
get more and more experience in just the field of power and distribution but there is a need of
having the skills of cost management from the mentors side as well which he is not focused on,
but he just wants to learn how this field is operating which can be a great weakness for him in the
future (Jackson, 2015). There are a lot of skills which the individual has to improve upon so that
he can lead in the field he is interested in which is confidence, communication, etc.
There is a lot of growth for the person who is having an experience in this field because
there is a need of such people not just in India but worldwide which is a great platform for the
individual to start his career from. The experience from Atlanta Electrical P. Ltd, Atlas Cables
Industries, Mafatlal Industries Ltd., and Indian Railways Electric Locomotive Shed also has a

great addition to the person's life. The threats which the person can face is that the
communication skills, confidence, attitude, responsibility, time management can make the person
not be able to grow (Macchi and Astolfi, 2016). Individual is so much into the field that he is not

important (Fenwick, Edwards and Sawchuk, 2015). There are a lot of changes which come in the
company and the individual has to get used to those changes so that he can grow and make a
change for himself in the field. The individual has a lot of knowledge which the individual has in
the field and if the individual improves on the other fields as well then, the company will be able
to make a change in the market and make a change for himself faster. There will be a lot of profit
if the individual will make changes in himself so that there is a betterment in himself so that he

“Critical evaluation of Green power generation as a source of electricity: Solar energy as a
source of electricity generation”
Background, Motivation, relevance, Source of knowledge
Project management is one of the major parts of every project. It helps in distributing a
project into sub activates so that main objectives of a project can be achieved. It also helps in
evaluating a project overall cost, time, risk associated with the project (Hosseini and Wahid,
2016). Current project is based upon evaluation of Green power generation as a source of
electricity in which project management will play a vital role as it will help the researcher to
evaluate overall coast of the project, time period in which project will be completed and will also
help in analysing overall risk associated with the project.
Rationale: Today many countries are focusing on using green power as a source of electricity as
an alternative source of electricity. In this all kinds of renewable source of electricity are been
used in this like solar energy which helps in reducing the overall burden on the environment.
Researcher has chosen this topic for research as researcher’s main interest is in this topic. This
research topic will help the researcher to enhance their knowledge and learn more about green
power generation (Zhang, Andrews-Speed and Li, 2018). Researcher will also try to complete
this project on time, within budget using project management methods and techniques. This
knowledge will also help the researcher to enhance their knowledge and get job in their desired
field.
Summary: The main topic will lay emphasis on evaluation of Green power generation as a
source of electricity and in this researcher will specifically focus on solar energy as a renewable
source of electricity generation. In this research, researcher will focus on explaining Green
power as electricity generation source, its pros and cons and ways in which it can help in
reducing burden on the environment.

Research Approach: It is research plan that helps in assuming detailed data collection methods,
interpretation methods and analysis methods. There are three main types of research approaches
that are used in research project such as: inductive, deductive and abductive research approach.
Deductive approach focuses on rejection or conformation of formed hypothesis (Fleming and
Koppelman, 2016). Inductive approach focuses on formation of new theory and abductive
approach is used when incomplete observations comes into picture. For this research study
research will be choosing inductive research approach as it will help the researcher to propose a
new theory at the end of the research with the help of formation of aim, objectives and research
objectives.
Research strategy: In order to complete the research in a better manner with appropriate results
qualitative research strategy will be used by the researcher. Using this strategy primary data will
be collected with the help of survey in which few questions will be asked from the respondents.
This survey will help the researcher to collect and analyse others point of view on the basis of
which final results can be analysed in order to achieve desired aim and objective.
Research design: It is a collection of methods that are mainly used for research variable
collection and analysis of a specific research problem or issue. There are three types of research
design: exploratory, descriptive and casual. Exploratory design is used to generate insight of the
situation, descriptive is used (Meredith, Mantel Jr and Shafer, 2017). Descriptive design is used
to describe cause, elements and phenomena of the research and casual design is used to explain
cause and effect relationship within the study. For this research, researcher will be using
exploratory research design as it helps in gaining insight of the research topic in a more detailed
manner.
Data collection: data collection is used to collect data or information related to the research topic
in order to be analysed. There are two types of data primary and secondary. For this research,
researcher will be using both primary and secondary data. Secondary data will be collected from
articles, journals, online portals etc. Whereas primary data will be collected from a survey where
a questionnaire consisting of few questions will be distributed to the respondents in order to
collect primary data to be analysed.
Data analysis: It is a kind of method which is used to analyse data collected in order to reach to a
conclusion (Taylor, Bogdan and DeVault, 2015). For this research researcher will be using
