INTRODUCTION
It is very important to have a good command on your skills which can help to improve
the weakness and make an effective research report. This report will discuss about how to write
an effective research report and what are the factors which is required to chive this. It will also
explain about the personal development plan and the way to prepare it. It will also focus on
improving all the skills related to corporate trainer.
TASK 1
1. Personal Development
It is very important for academic and research project to work to have a proper and
skilled knowledge for work. While conducting this research report, I came out to understand my
strengths and weaknesses which I have to overcome. For effective research report, it is very
crucial for me to upgrade my personal skills, for example, my communication, writing, my
listening, etc. This will help me to increase my strength to prepare an effective report at the end.
For the personal development, it is very important to have a good command on the academic
skills as well as research, note taking, summarizing, paraphrasing, etc. (Bell, 2014). For example:
for an effective research report, I improved my communication skills because it is very important
for me while conducting my research project. It will also help me while I am collecting my data
for which I have to meet so many people to gather related information for which communication
plays an important role.
My complete research work is based on my target which is to become a good corporate
trainer at the end of 2018. For this, I am working on my formal writing and analytical skills
which can help me to communicate well with their employees in office and it will also help me
to coach and mentor trainees whilst sharing feedback from them at same time. For a good
corporate trainer, it is very important for me to have a strong communication and interpersonal
skills as well as ability of innovative thinking which can be used for overall improvement of
organization for which will be beneficial in future (Cottrell, 2015). I have to also improve my
language skills because for better communication, it is very important to have a good command
on language. It will also help me to build confidence and work more effectively for the
organization and I can achieve my objectives and goals easily.

2. Capability of writing notes
It is very important to gather information regarding the research topic which can be
through taking notes from the sources. For corporate trainer, I research about an article named
Measuring Success and ROI in Corporate Training (Marcus, 2016). While going through this
article, I learned a lot of things related to corporate trainer such as its roles and responsibilities in
the organization. From this article, I understood that for creating more effective training of the
employees, there is a course known as Instructional System Design (ISD). The main aim of this
system is to improve overall performances of employees working in their organization which
helps in increasing their efficiency of work.
Another method which is very important for corporate trainer to adopt is known as Total
Quality Management (TQM) in which he will evaluate and identify their mistakes and errors
identified in employees as well as implement ways to improve it. This article also suggests that
for corporate trainer, there are some critical components which are important for them like
making strategies that include effectiveness of the plan which is being implemented. He should
have a fine knowledge of theoretical framework which will help him to understand effectiveness
of training session provided to employees and can identify respective areas in organization that
are needed to be revised by him. He should be a leading indicator for the employees
(MEASURING SUCCESS AND ROI IN CORPORATE TRAINING, 2017). This article helped me
a lot in improving my skills which can be beneficiary for me to implement in my behaviour.
Taking notes has helped me a lot to understand about corporate trainer's duties as well as roles
and responsibilities towards employees and organization.

To become an effective corporate trainer, I have worked on my communication skills as
it is very important for me to have a good command to communicate with employees who are
working in the organization. To enhance these skills, I have taken several classes to improve it.
For the improvement of my communication skills, I have given so many presentations while in
my training session which helped me to improve my strength and confidence in doing research
project work. In training session, I have also improved my analytical skills which will help me in
their future while giving training to employees. Giving presentations also helped me to improve
my command over language which has enhanced my personality a lot. I also worked on my
analytical skills such as complex problem solving issues by making effective decisions which
