AI Summary
This document presents a research plan for the CUS410 course, focusing on customs procedures. The research plan covers two key customs procedures, with a clear explanation of the process, the importance of the procedure to the World Customs Organization's mission, and an initial view of the procedure's effectiveness within the General Administration of Customs (GAC). The methodology includes both primary and secondary data collection, with qualitative data analysis and interviews with GAC professionals. Anticipated difficulties, such as a lack of sufficient research papers, are addressed by the use of primary data. A detailed timetable outlines the completion of the portfolio, including stages from identifying the research area to writing the final draft. The report also includes a progress report, which details the completed and remaining work, and the progress made in research, gathering information, and preparing a subject presentation.

The procedure practices in General Administration of Customs, is highly effective.
However in order to enhance the effectiveness of the existing procedures, more
strategies needs to be implemented in future.
7. Research Methodology
In order to conduct the research, both primary and secondary data collection will be
performed. Information will be collected from sources that include internet, library,
and internal policies / laws. For data analysis, qualitative data analysis will be
conducted. In order to gathering primary data, interview of two major professionals
associated with GAG will be interviewed.
Difficulties you anticipate and how would you overcome these difficulties
One of the major difficulties that may be faced during the research time includes lack
of sufficient research papers on the mentioned subject (Häntsch & Huchzermeier,
2016). However, in order to overcome the difficulties, primary data will be collected.
The first hand data collected through interview will be able to discard the issue
associate with lack of secondary information associated with GAC.
