It is extremely important that the IT industry hostages build up for retaining
employees within the organisation. The policies and practices within an organisation need to
be satisfying enough for the employees in fulfilling the diverse needs and also for creating a
work environment which will encourage the employees to stay within the organisations. The
act of retaining employees is mostly taken as a function of human resource management
department but they can also be deliberate and serious effort from the sides of the
management in this case. It can also be found that the competitors within the industry trying
to snatch away the talent acquisition that an organisation already has. This can probably be
done to reduce the effort of making the employees be ready for working within a work
environment. However it is extremely important that an organisation understands the
importance of retaining employees within the organisation since the employees are also
considered as one of the most valuable assets of an entire organisation. This following
research paper would thus discuss about the strategies that IT organisations follow to retain
their employees.
1.2 Research Aims and Objectives
Aim: The primary aim of this research is to find out what it organisations all around
the world utilizes as the strategy to make sure that the employees do not leave the company.
Putting it in a simpler way, the research would go through the aim of finding out the
appropriate strategies that information technology organisations mostly adapt to retain their
employees.
