Introduction
Supply chain management is the management of the flow of goods and services and
includes all processes that transform raw materials into final products. These activities are done
to increase the satisfaction among the customers (Christopher, 2016). However, it is difficult to
management the supply chain in the villages. Therefore, in this report the study is conducted to
investigate the supply change management in Gowsaweyne village, which is situated in Somalia.
Research methodology
Research title
The study is conducted to know the supply chain management in the remote areas of
Gowsaweyne village. The reason for selected the topic is to examining the better understanding
about managing the supply chain in the village of Somalia. It is because Gowsaweyne village has
poor infrastructure that is poor management of the water resources, poor transportation and
communication (Ismail, 2017). So, the present study deals with investigation supply chain in
Gowsaweyne village and also to analyzing the problems faced by the village in the management
of supply chain.
Research Objectives
The research objectives refer in providing the information about the aim of the study that is
the reason for conducting the study, the objectives of the study is connected with the research
questions as well as also from the hypothesis (Okunieff, et al., 2017). It shows the purpose of the
study, however, the objectives of present study are:-
To understand the concept of supply chain and to analyzed the economic condition of
Gowsaweyne village.
To investigate the strategies adopted for managing supply chain in Gowsaweyne village.
To analyze the issues faced during the management of supply chain.
Research questions
It is the objective of the study as well as to investigate the problem; however, it also deals in
providing the information about the problem which is to be solved by conducting this study
(Long, 2017). Further, it also helps in finding the accurate method of data collection.

and to know the strategies adopts for their management. However, to gather this data, researcher
leads to adopt both the approach that is primary and secondary approach. The secondary
approach is adopted by reviewing various articles for providing information about the concept of
supply chain and to understand the economic condition of Gowsaweyne village. However,
primary study is conducted by taking the interviews from the target audience in Gowsaweyne
village. This helps the researcher in providing complete information about the strategies of
supply chain management.
