A research proposal is a type of document which is written by a student that can give a deep
analyse and description of the programme that should be proposed. The main aim of making
research proposal is that it provides a summary to the professor of the information which is to be
discussed in the research project. there are some of the significances of research proposal which
is discussed below:
 A proposal can includes various task details which re to e performed by an investigator in
the given research project (Charidimou, and et.al., 2018). It is to be shown to the
professors and it requires number of people to complete this research project. It consists
of various flow charts and diagrams and tables which says about the time that is require
to complete the research. These diagrams help the researchers in getting knowledge and
doing activities. By using diagrams helps them to wite more things in the research
proposal. An investigator shows better way of completing this proposal and they should
have to make such easy way to convey their message to the professors.
 A proposal allows a student to demonstrate and show how their concepts are being set
clearly and how they can define their research questions and aims effectively. This is
important because this provides a budget of conducting this research project and
knowledge for conducting this research. It can be in any form research or dissertation and
thesis.
 Research proposal helps the students in being professional in writing and allows to share
their experience and methods used through research proposal (Jamel, and et.al., 2018). A
students should have to specify the requirements of research proposal. Moreover, this

research proposal
Qualitative research proposal is that which is consist of qualitative data and information. as
this can be supported by interpretivism paradigm that can described the world which is socially
constructed and ever changing. This consist of information which is in theory and collected
information through different writers and books.

Quantitative research proposal is that which is supported by positivism and it includes
measurable facts and observations (Pimentel Da Silva, Magrini, and Branco, 2020). It grew with
the theory social anthropology and sociology. This consist of various survey and practical
information and use of graphs and tables. This provides accurate and reliable information.
Similarities of quantitative and qualitative research proposal
 Both of the research proposal is using similar elements and components to carry out their
work.
 Quantitative and qualitative research proposal rely on the theoretical framework and most
probably concerned with the severity.
 In both of the research, there should be a plan for conducting surveys.
 In some of the cases both of the qualitative research proposal and quantitative research
proposal collect data and conduct research through observations in the natural
environment.
 Quantitative research is used for mainly to test theories but also it can be used for
generating hypothesis or theories.
 In qualitative research it includes statements and quantitative research questionnaire is
used to collect the data through close ended questions.
Dissimilarities of quantitative and qualitative research proposal
One of the main differences that can be seen for quantitative research it is more
methodological approach that can solve problem by generating and using of numerical data and
graphs (Thachil, Cushman, and Srivastava, 2020). This is a method which is more
methodological in solving. This is a form of research which is used in quantifying data and
variables that can be into concrete data. In context of quantitative research proposal consist of
online surveys, questionnaire survey and other forms of survey that can be used to complete the
research. On the other hand, qualitative research is a method which is developing better
understanding of social and human science. It consists of theoretical knowledge and
understanding which is through books and journals and this knowledge can be through writing of
another author. It consists holistic in nature and it is a method of involving process oriented
inquiry.
