The process of research
The research process is being done in appropriate manner by collecting all the essential
data and information about the topic which is impact (or role) of Big Data and Information
Technology in society (Cox and Tam, 2018). The research is being conducted by analysing and
collecting all the data and information by considering the aspects of how the research is being
conducted. The research follows the aim as to impact (or role) of Big Data and Information
Technology in society. The research is being conducted on the basis of aim and the topic through
which the research is being conducted at large scale.
Key issues in research
Three key issues in research are – time, resources and money. These are three key issues
which helps in analysing research may be affected by the analysis of time, resources and money
and this ensures that there are concerns which are to be noted at large scale. These issues help in
addressing that research is affected due to such aspects. Due to time and money, there are issues
which are considered as important and due to these the research is being affected.
Research topic chosen and why
The research topic which has been chosen is impact (or role) of Big Data and Information
Technology in society. This research topic will help in choosing and analysing the concerns
which are related to impact (or role) of Big Data and Information Technology in society
(Ferraris, Mazzoleni, Devalle and et.al., 2018). This also helps in ensuring the concerns of
impact (or role) of Big Data and Information Technology in society. This topic is being chosen
for analysing the concern and to impact (or role) of Big Data and Information Technology in
society so that the individuals are aware of the role of big data and IT in the society.

Difference in data, knowledge and information
The data, information and knowledge differ on the basis of how effectively and in
appropriate manner the information and data is being collected. The data in the research are the

details which are collected through which there are aspects of how effectively the research is
framed. The knowledge in the research is provided for knowing that how significantly all
information is put within the research. Information is the key aspect which indicates appropriate

Impact on research proposal
There is great impact of research proposal as it signifies the aspects as to how effectively

Arbib and Bouhnik, 2022). The data, information and knowledge impacts the research proposal

Reflecting on the big data choice by discussing pros and cons of selection
The choice of big data is being analysed and interpreted effectively which helps in
addressing the concerns of how the research is being done. The pros of selecting the big data
helped in analysing that what are the societal concerns regarding the information technology and
big data. The cons of selection of big data choice is that there is less information which is
available for the concerned big data choice.
