This research project, submitted as part of a BTEC Higher National Diploma in Hospitality Management at Mont Rose College, investigates talent management within the service industry, specifically focusing on Travelodge. The project explores the role of leaders and managers in employee development and retention. It covers the concept of talent management, the importance of talent retention, employee retention strategies, and the roles of leaders and managers in fostering employee growth. The research employs both qualitative and quantitative methods, including literature reviews, surveys, and data analysis, to provide insights and recommendations for talent retention strategies within Travelodge. The project includes a declaration of authorship, an abstract, a detailed table of contents, and comprehensive chapters on introduction, literature review, research methodology, data analysis, findings, and conclusions, along with recommendations for future action. It aims to provide a comprehensive understanding of talent management practices within the hospitality sector.
