Introduction
Resilience is the act of bouncing back after a push resulting from pressure has been
accomplished. In any management system, there should be resilience especially when a
sudden crisis has occurred. Therefore, people need to stick to their core beliefs, flash back at
whatever took place, and stay positive while at the same time staying positive. This will
enable the individual to focus a head. To realize effective resilience, we should be able to
acquire new skills by exposing ourselves to new situations. If necessary, we should be able to
get medical attention, counselling, coaching, or disability help. Resilience would positively
contribute to fundamental improvement of services and also help an individual to carry out
his or her functions even after a fall. It also makes time management to be effective.
Time management is a challenge for many people working in different fields. It is defined as
the proper use of available time and ensuring that the allocated duration for the specific task
is respected. Time observation enables us to accomplish our duties and become more
productive in our professional assignments. Poor time management is characterized by
lateness which results in unaccomplished or poorly done tasks. As someone who is aspiring
to be a nursing professional, time management should be my main focus as I know it has
been a serious problem even before I started studying nursing (Gawthrop, 2011). I am
therefore obliged to devise ways of improving how I manage my time otherwise; it will affect
my work. I have worked as an untrained health and social care provider (midwifery) in my
village. This work is an interesting job because I was able to interact and offer health care to
different people. As seen, this work is quite related to the course am studying currently. I
would be able to blend my experience in the field with what I am currently studying to ensure
that there is a success in my professional assignments (Molinari, 2001). Health and social
care providers play a critical role in helping those who are unable to reach health centers as
soon as they fall sick and also avail first aid services to the patients before moving to health

centers which may be several kilometers away.
I found the information about my learning from a journal of nursing, specifically, the journal
talks about the principles of health and social care practice (Niewenhous, 2001). The journal
explains many things ranging from the benefits of social care practice to the procedures of
carrying out effective care to people that are facing different health problems.

Conclusion
To ensure that I stand as one of the best nursing students, my exemplary self-discipline is
vital. Proper time management will indicate my discipline characteristic. It is very important
to always observe time as this will improve confidence in my work as a nurse. Allocating
time according to the complexity of the job at hand will enable me to accomplish the tasks at
the required time and avoid lateness.
Avoid unnecessary wastage of time on jobs that do not require much time and finally make
use any available time to prepare the next course of action for my responsibilities.
