INTRDUCTION
The environmental policy for any business organisation is very crucial as it create a
normal and a working positive environment. Also, only the internal environment is not
necessary to look after but it is essential for the business to consider the external environment
as well (Husgafvel and et.al., 2018). In this report, the simulated GSE organisation is
proposing and efficiency improvement plan.
TASK
Prepare a proposed resource efficiency improvement plan.
a) List three environmental and resource usage problems and explain why they are an issue
for the environment
Here are a few different ways business entity might try to further develop business
environmental problem:
1. Wastage of the resources
2. Fuel and transportation oil
3. Recycling Schemes.
The above three issues are the problems because it majorly impacts the environmental
condition of the business as well as of the world. Due to his many hazardous situations are
being faced by the people in the outside world.
b) Short interpretation of GSE environmental policy plan.
The environmental policy plan for GSE is being prepared for improving the sustainability of
the organisation. This will help in grow over the long term and achieve certain gaols in the
next 5 years.
c) Using the GSE usage calculator compute the amount of resources used by the company
over the last 6 months.
From the table, it can be concluded that the water usage has increased over the period of time.
In the time period between January to June it can be seen that the use of water has increased
51.85%. In the last six months it has increased by 14 kilolitres which is half of the usage in
the January month. In the last month the usage has only increased by 1 kilolitre which is near
to the negligible (Lopez, Bastein and Tukker, 2019).

The usage of electricity has been uneven throughout the year which can be seen the
data available in the chart. In February the usage of electricity has increased by 91 kilowatts.
In the later months it has decreased by more than 285 kilowatts in the following months. In
the month of June, the electricity usage has increased by 389 kilowatts.
d) Explain at least two (2) solutions that will improve the business’ performance, such as
reducing how much of the resources are being used.
Improvement ways:
1. Reduce the environmental footprint: the amount of how much land that ought to be
mended to make up for the resources consumed to finish the affiliation's activities
2. Diminish greenhouse gas emissions: releases of gases, for instance, carbon dioxide
that are a consequence of energy and fuel used in our everyday activities (Peng and
et.al., 2018).
