Introduction
The aim of this report is to develop, organize, and to identify the resources in the teaching and
learning practice for the improvement. This assignment will cover the purpose of using that
resources and the way of implementation in the education sector. It will also conclude the legal
requirements essential for the implementation and help in improving the overall teaching and
learning experience of the individual.
Findings
Implementation of the digital technology in the education sector includes the use of E-books,
online resources, internet, assessing of the online content. Due to the wide source of knowledge
hub in the world, all the information can be gathered all together. As internet source is a very

1.1 Explain the purpose of resources in learning and teaching.
To make the education field more interesting and supportive, thus it requires a lot of resources
for the City & Guilds Hair and Beauty. Educational resources are the tools which behave as the
support, key, or can be said as complementary elements which play a vital role in providing
resources for the teaching and learning. The resources which are included in the learning and
teaching are books, video, newspaper, article, internet, etc. Nowadays many technologies are
emerging in the world, which is very beneficial for the purpose of grabbing knowledge in student
life. These emerging sources are not only beneficial for the student but also for the teaching staff
as these technologies have made easy the process of serving the knowledge to the student in the
colleges, schools, or an organization. Presently it is impossible to avoid the new technology and
resources as they have become the essential part of the education system for learning and
teaching both.
Making education and teaching field more interesting and knowledgeable, it is essential the use
of the resources and new technology. According to the survey it is discovered that in secondary
schools resources such as an internet, online courses are not available. These schools are limited
to only with the books, maps, charts, teachers and library (Willett, 2010). The recommendation
of the new techniques and resources for the serving of knowledge is essential in secondary
schools. Resources such as the online article or internet in education make studies more
interesting and knowledgeable. Learning resources are such as equipment, individual
motivational learning, fostering etc.

changes in the current situation of the world, it becomes essential for the country to bring change
in the education system and this change can be only be made by implementing the digitalization
in the current system of education. Using the help of the internet and digital technology in
learning makes the teaching style more attractive and understandable for both teachers as well as
for the student. As books contain limited resources and content for the particular individual’s
