EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
The purpose of this project is to present a document outlining the use of networking
system installation in resource management. The specific area is selected for the research and
review is networking system installation which helps to support the process of resource
management. In addition, resource management can be described as effective and efficient
utilisation of raw materials available in the firm such as financial, production, human and
inventory materials at the time they are required. There are a lot of firms make effective use of
automated software tools and techniques in order to manage them.

AIM
To investigate and determine three accurate networking system installation software for
resource management. The report will demonstrate how this software support the process of
networking system installation in material management.
INTRODUCTION
Management of raw materials can be described as effective and efficient development of
stock available in the organisation or when they are needed. Such functions may involve
inventory, financial, production, human skills and information technology capability. There are
three software selected to support process of source management.
SIGNIFICANCE OF INVESTIGATION
There are different ways from which the organisation's are able to manage and control
their property. It can be said that the human resource management or system of a firm has a
significant impact on both business and an individual effectiveness. Capital management is
focused on strategic objectives and works by improving skills, motivation, knowledge and
contribution opportunities of employees. The main reason behind choosing these three software
for this research is that they are easy to use as well as effective towards monitoring different
activities involved in networking system (Nellore and Hancke, 2016). The other software are a
bit more complex as comparison to these three software packages selected for the project.
AVAILABLE SOFTWARE
The software selection is based on their cost, efficiency and reliability from all the above.
Here are some examples of available related packages provided below for the investigation,
which will help to increase effectiveness of resources utilisation and distribution within business: Solar-winds Network Performance Monitor PRTG Network Monitor from Paessler Manage Engine Op Manager Zabbix Incinga

and easy to use. One of the most particular feature of PRTG is its ability which also known as its
strength to monitor device in the data centre with a mobile application effectively.
Moreover, a QR code that correspond to the sensor is printed out and attached to the
physical hardware. The application in mobile is used to scan the code and a summary of devices
which are displayed on thee mobile screen (Wu and Xia, 2015). PRTG performance monitor
from Paessler has a flexibility in pricing plan that the official website will help customers to
know the current and exact price of the software. The software can run on a Window machine
within network and collects statistics from designated host such as servers, routers and other
crucial applications and devices. It is very easy to operate and deploy that particularly it is in
SMB environment.
Manage Engine Op Manager
Manage Engine Op Manager is a management of infrastructure, application performance
management 'APM' and network monitoring software. The software is well balanced and
effective when it comes towards analysis of the feature or monitoring effectively. The solution is
helpful to manage the network, network configuration, servers, performance and fault. It also
helps to analyse the network traffic that it is also a useful tool for resource management.
The software should be installed on premises in order to run. One of the highlight of this
software is that the product comes with pre-configured devices and templates of network
monitoring. This contains pre-defined parameters and intervals of monitoring for particular or
specific device types (Xiang, Liu and Liu, 2016). The most essential edition of the software can
be purchased for $595 which allows 25 devices to connect effectively and efficiently. In addition
to this, there are some features of Manage Engine Op Manager such as:
It provides real time network monitoring via live graphs and dashboards like discards and
errors.
Physical and virtual server monitoring like memory utilisation, virtual and physical

It is an open source and also has user community spread around the world for good
documentation. Zabbix provides freedom to use the solution from open sources without vendor
lock-ins. It is a strong tool for SMB network below 1,000 nodes. Moreover, software get slower
and its performance decreased over 1000 nodes (Amini, Moghaddam and Karabasoglu, 2017). In
addition to this, there is a disadvantage of this software that it does not include real time test or
report. Zabbix provides solutions to various businesses such as Aerospace, retail, energy &

process is also acquired by solar-winds. However, it is important to determine demerit of the
software at the time of addressing in order to make solution for the issues. In that case, one major
issue is identified regarding software which is cost that is too high and on the other hand it is also
not desirable. N case, if the software implementation or integration fails, it will prove costly to
them. Ultimately, further software will be required to be sourced which is compatible. Flexibility
and adaptability of software can also affect the project team ability to fill their required roles and
duties effectively.
CONCLUSION AND RECOMMENDATIONS
Based on the results of evaluating software and critical review, it is conducted that solar-
winds performance monitor is the selected software package which will help towards process of
resource management in order to support networking system effectively.
The critical review and evaluation conducted in this report determines that it is focused
on primarily software ability to provide support to the process of resource management. Solar-
