INTRODUCTION
Learning and teaching are the sources through which development is done in proper
manner. Resources are important for information, development, growth etc. Without them it
is not possible for them to complete the process further for final output. Also, it is essential
to use them effectively so that goals as well as objectives are achieved in proper manner. This
report includes purpose of resources in teaching & learning, effectiveness of specific
resources, analysis of principle design, evaluation of theories, design and new resources,
individual needs of learners, different ways, review of legal requirements & responsibilities,
implications of intellectual property rights, designed resources, reflective account & plan.
TASK A
a) Explain purpose of resources in teaching & learning
Learning as well as teaching both are crucial in every field because without them it is
not possible to carry out the process in proper manner. In learning, various types of resources
are required such as boards, videos, projectors, power point, smart devices etc. Main purpose
is to deliver opportunities for students so that they are able to access new information, areas,
fields, face challenges & issues, develop their skills etc. Such resources are present & reliable
to unpin the extra curriculum within each aspect which are being carried out in colleges or
schools (Ernst-Slavit, 2017).
Teaching also requires resources such as videos, applications, stimulation, journals,
workbooks etc. It is often said that valuable resources are to be used so that learner is able to
learn in effective manner. It helps students to use sources, materials, credentials without any
guidance of supervisor or teacher. Thus, they act as supporting tools which make them
independent to make decisions effectively. Also, as marketing consultant it is my duty to
give support materials to students and learners so that they perform accordingly. To do this, I
provide them hand written workbooks, more amenities. From my experience in my
specialised field, i personally realised that people in marketing come with up with new ideas
but lack of information. Also, they do not have much required ICT `skills which is needed in
other activities. It becomes difficult for them to learn properly because of lack of public
confidence. So it is necessary to provide ICT skills, for more effective learning & to unpin
their teachers with important equipment such as laptop, PC’s, online tutorials etc. This also
means that they develop their knowledge at more enhanced level (Huda, 2018).

B) Evaluate effectiveness of specific resources in meeting individual learning needs in
teaching & learning objectives
Importance of meeting individual learning needs-
In teaching and learning it is crucial to understand learners individual needs because
then only it is possible to implement strategies as well as tactics according to it. To do this
successfully, I need to focus on some effective skills such as research or cognitive,
communication skills which are applied in learning appropriately.
Effectiveness of specific resources-
In this certain elements are involved such as developing required skills, appropriate
degree of challenge and task which are matched to learners abilities as well as capabilities,
related to desired learning outcomes etc. Further, various types of indicators are used in these
two specified fields for developing & improving other areas for future growth. As senior
authority of my consultant I always prefer working as team and group to address & develop
required skills & knowledge. It is necessary to have knowledge regarding all concepts,
information about essential skills so that decision making is done accordingly. In my
consultancy firm, such type of concepts are used which are suitable & linked with learners
abilities. This is done because it is important so that outcomes are achieved by learners in
effective manner without facing any problems or issues (Acosta, 2016).
After analysing the above paragraph, it is stated that individual needs are to be meet
properly because programme reliability depends upon student’s point of view (Chad, 2017).

C) Produce analysis of principles of resource design
In this, important design is going to be meeting needs of learners as essence of
education. For this, requirement will be development of various resources related to specific

learning style because which are acquired those need to be fit in accordance with students’
abilities to adopt them effectively.
Moreover, to maintain standards high, council of education are regulating and
formulating such policies, rules and regulations so that all acquire or limited quantity of
resources for classrooms, students etc. so that demands are meet of every individual learner.
Through this, UK was considered to be second place amongst EU countries & positioned
sixth in GELT.
d) Critically evaluate sources that inform resource development
There are various ways and sources through which inform resource development is
done. In this, might involve developing practices with friends, colleagues, etc. study centre,
library physical place, online or web resources or any other learners.
During my programme in my own specialised area, I motivate my learners to go
through both informal as well as formal sources so opportunities are explored at wider scale,
library or books workshops so that they gain practical & theoretical knowledge regarding
with field. This is helpful for them as they are able to analyse themselves in market and faces
difficult challenges which are solved with critical thinking. Besides this, to develop learner’s
skills & knowledge at higher level, I prefer them to go through websites sources also such as
tutorial related to area or field, counsellors or experts videos which deliver deep
understanding of marketing concepts & different frameworks. Moreover as teacher I assist
my students and learner to ask questions as much as they can because through this new ideas
are generated which are further used in specialised field. Also, I have some network
connections which I used in my programme for resource development. Subjects, professional
bodies, authors are some of the sources which are adopted by students for improving their
learning (Dune, 2016).
After going through above paragraph it is also concluded that resources development
are needed for implementation of successful programme. Inform resources such as book
workshops, libraries etc. are some of the ways through which they are developed.
e) An analysis of how theories, principles, & models of inclusive curriculum design can be
used to inform resource development
Theories, models & principles includes Maslow level of needs pyramid, Learning
cycle (Kolb), VLE which is also known as virtual learning environment etc. Through
analysing these theories, I am able to develop my resources in my programme. Most probably
I make ensure that needs of each and every individual are maintained as well as fulfilled so
that they understand properly when to use their skills and to apply them properly. Use of
development of blended resources is also adopted because to simplify the complexity of
subject and learners learn by themselves. Technology also play vital role in my success of

programmes which makes my students to learn effectively by using VLE of various
counsellors, expertise, etc.
In relevance with inclusive curriculum design, I make sure that designs which are
being introduced involves challenging tasks and difficult situations so that every student or
learner get motivated towards achievement and rewards which also leads to growth &
development. During this I also ensure that learners are able to deal with difficulties
independently (Ong’amo, 2017).
After examining above matter, it is analysed that all theories as well as models are
also used during the programme so that information is applied in effective manner. So, these
are used according to the capabilities of students.
f) Design resources, including those that involve new and emerging technologies, to engage
& meet individual needs of learners
It is important to focus on needs of every individual learner so that programme is
being carried out in proper way. There are various designing of resources such as developing
informal learning space so that students feel comfortable to learn as well as positive
environment is established. Also in terms of new & emerging technologies, Atomic Object
Technology Showcase has been emerging and which is present at GVSU. Main goal of
showcase is to engage students and teachers engaged with each other when they interact.
Also by this technology, both develop and stretch their level of knowledge of understanding
at broader scale (Popp, 2016).
By engaging students to these new and emerging technology they can experiment,
explore new opportunities in the filed as well as outside the field. This makes them confident
and aware about new technologies are beneficial for them. With changing time period more
& more ways are coming which are used by teachers in education sectors.
g) Employ resources to engage & meet individual needs of learners
The virtual learning environment Nescot’s VLE – known as Web-e-learn – (an open
source e-portfolio) is used for higher education courses and may be introduced for further
education students in future perspective. My philosophy is that VLE need to an effective
system for supporting learning and should help teachers to improve their teaching by
facilitating blended and flexible learning (Fang, 2020).
Students are engaged though this completely and perform following task such as
feedbacks, assignment uploaded, etc. By going through this, they are able to enhance their
virtual learning.

h) Analysing ways in which resources can be adapted to enable an inclusive approach
In this, ways in which resources have been adapted are power-point, workplace
resources, VLE, software etc. Resources were adapted by me with use of paper based-
materials so that students as well as learners will be able to understand them properly & apply
them effectively. It was necessary to provide such materials to analyse the impact of those
over the students.
Further, I also adapted language of my resources for motive of learning to be acquired
because many learners need to have better visual skills & unpin which is effective. To make
this successful I had to make timetable, with pictures, label resources & equipment with
operating activities. Also, to check if students are facing any problem with reading boards i
consistently asked them questions.
After analysing above matter, it is examined that it is necessary to be ware about
resources which are going to be used in programme so that students and learners easily go
through the message or communication. So, it is my responsibility to consider each & every
students problem carefully so that output is achieved appropriately.
TASK B
a) Discuss ways in which resources can be classified and stored
Internal source is wider and there are various type of ways through which resources
can be stored as well as classified. E-learning is not easy to maintaining and manage
properly. This is because it is essential to manage credentials, materials, sources to enhance
speed of on-going process, minimise pressure etc. For this, catalogues are to be maintained in
proper order so that learners or say end users get materials for the information which they are
looking for (Lally, 2019).
Then, system is to be implemented in classification form such as by creating new
folders, search box so that students can search the needed data or resources which are useful
to them. To meet the demand appropriately, my firm is also developing new system to store
inventory for materials so that shortage of space does not bother learners on platforms such as
E- library. Next, to provide reliable & new credentials duplication of data is checked properly
so that every student gets update material. Moreover, it is also needed that a well organised
structure is to be maintained in the system so that they everything is being in systematic
order. This is because such data can be used further process by keeping them in USB device,
Tapes etc.
b) Review ways of sharing resources with other leaning professionals
It is often happens that resources are found common when they are searched by users
such as grade, experience, qualification etc. These searches are mostly same such as number

of employee, their resources etc. These are shared with learning professionals with motive of
sharing credentials & ideas about the new sectors or activities. During this, company
enhances their staff & increase profitability of business (Martin, 2019).
Then, it is also stated that members of interested parties have access to file storage
through they retrieve data for their activities. Thus, credentials are shared between both
parties for mutual interest. For example- in the library where person upload their resumes
share it with enterprise for the sake of job & vice versa entity analyse for their interest.
c) Review legal requirements & responsibilities relating to development and use of resources
In this discussion are going to about roles, requirements responsibilities such as
protection of data, plagiarism, personal bias issues, licensing of storage of materials etc. In
UK, government has imposed law rules on usage of acquiring of author’s work so that it is
not misused by any other third party. According to Copyright, designs, & Patents act author is
legally have protection even without registering under legal authorities around for 50 years.
My consultancy firm works under by following Data protection policy which states
the credentials which are being used by is reliable, accurate as well as original. Including also
that that can be copied by anyone even by photocopying it. Because, for protection measures
they are asked to enter their user id and password then only they will be able to access.
Mostly, it department of my consultancy firm is always aware about that only members are
accessed to data & restriction is done carefully for unauthorised users.
So, after going through above matter, it is also seen that when resources are shared
between teachers & learners it is to be safely communicated. This is crucial as in online e-
learning data can be theft by competitors or rivals for their own personal use. These results in
duplication of data and which is manage by IT team properly. It is a time consuming process
but need to be adopted actively so that measures are taken when such events occurs (Oliveira,
2019).
d) Analyse implications of intellectual proper rights & copyright for development and use of
resources
In my consultancy, all members, employees are aware about government rules and
regulations. Which means that they make sure that credentials are used within the
management not outside if it is done they inform to superior authorities. Furthermore, IT
department of enterprise are strict and have put some firewall which restricts unauthorized
user to copy data also accessed users have a limit on per materials or resources (Guo, 2019).
As explained above, that firm work under proper consideration and following all the
rules as well regulations. This makes us protective from rivals & competitors so that they do
not misuse the private resources and materials.

SWEET Analysis is framework which is mostly used in teaching for effective results.
To conduct proper market research is required so that goals and objectives are achieved in

opportunities for differentiation etc. Then, weakness regarding the loophole of acquired
materials. Further, comes the environment and educators who are the base of SWEET spot in
teaching (Loan, 2019).
Through this, decisions are made appropriately which also means that all it helps

experiences or knowledgeable individuals can be acquired for more information.
Thus, analysing own strength and weak spot assist to develop more new
ideas/thoughts which can be furthermore used. This leads to implementation of new strategies
and tactics in same areas than can applied widely or entirely (Teitel, 2020).
After examining above matter, it is seen that not everyone is specialised with
knowledge or are expert. It took time to adjust and grow in areas of specialised field. To do
this, revise of resources or say resources has to be done so problems are identified. Also, it
helps in pre-paring for future conflicts or errors.

Evidence and identification- Firstly, in the plan is identification of those areas and
situations where skills and development can be done as well as improved in most effective

Monitoring a progress- In this stage, activities and performance are being measured
such as how I manages the timeline for other related activities or did I made new changes to

After a brief analysis of above report, it is concluded that teaching as well as learning
are both wider as well as broader concepts. In the present report discussions have been made
regarding purpose of teaching and learning, emerging technologies, portfolio, SWEET
Analysis, areas for improvement and with evidence. By going through this report, it is seen
that new ideas are required in teaching so that education field gets improved. Thus, VLE has
been also discussed and is being used by teacher effectively. Therefore, measures are being
adopted to prevent from conflicts or errors. Hence, this means that in education filed
everything is to be done systematically to meet the need of every individual in learning
process.
