This project report details the development of a web-based Restaurant Database Management System (DBMS) using MySQL and Node.js. The system is designed to efficiently manage various aspects of restaurant operations, including user data, food orders, menu contents, reservations, home deliveries, and financial data. The project includes detailed specifications, objectives, and a synopsis outlining the system's functionality, which encompasses two user types: restaurant staff and customers. The report covers the design and implementation of the system, including a system requirement specification, programming languages, frameworks, and tools used. It also includes a comprehensive list of entities, attributes, and their justifications, along with entity-relationship diagrams (ER diagrams) and tables before and after normalization. The system supports various features such as user authentication, staff management, menu management, order processing, and reservation handling.
