INTRODUCTION
Managing communication, knowledge and information are considered as critical aspect
which need to be referred by business entities in critical manner. In addition to this, it can be said
that it is referred as management of a mixture of transmission processes in organization or in
daily life. By having an effective consideration of diverse techniques the information about
diverse aspects related to business activities can be gathered properly. Proper communication
also allows to have effective application of standards which assist in accomplishing diverse
objectives. It has been noticed that managing knowledge and information is all about improving
access to the information that can improve overall operations. It also helps in gaining
information about technological factors which advances the sustainable development.
In present report, the different factors related to managing communication, knowledge
and information are being explored in context to setting out new restaurant in Sweden. Study will
provide information in regard to diverse methods which assist in improving relationship with
stakeholders. By having an appropriate information about diverse factors the business firm can
also improve its decision making process. Along with this, it will also provide details in regard to
communication techniques which are beneficial for sustainable development.

1.1 Different decisions to be made in relation to starting up a business
In order to have effective starting of business the owner need to focus on number of decisions
so that better outcome can be attained. Classification of decisions can be as financial, human
resource, legal, etc. However, decision in regard to vision/mission is also need to refer by
manager and owner so that better opportunities can be attained. By setting out vision/mission the
decisions about strategies application need to consider (Arvidsson, 2012). Along with this, fund
allocation is also necessary in order to have better management of activities. It means the owner
need to ensure about sources which will allow to have funds allocation effectively for better
purchase of essential resources. By having a financial resources decisions the risk factor can also
be reduced within business because improper allocation of funds is critical aspect for every
business entity (Brühl, Horch and Osann, 2010).
Decisions about products and services is also need to refer by the owner. It means it should

entity. Also, human resource allocation decision is also essential to be referred by owner at the
initial level (Craig and Allen, 2013). It means the decision about number of employees and their
functional roles also need to be classified as per need to organisation. It will also help in meet
business opportunities in significant manner. Along with this, legal decisions about licensing is
also significant so that risk factor can be reduced. Moreover, consideration of place and its key
requirements is also necessary in order to starting up a business (Hislop, 2010).

In every restaurant business need some information and knowledge, so business can use that
information in our business and increase profit of business. Some sources can be internal like
how much investment business can do it in the opening, infrastructure planning, restaurant staff

external sources, in this type of sources business should do analysis of the market, how much
population living in Sweden and how much area business need to settle our restaurant.

and all types of food which generally common in the Sweden's market, so business can easily
give the services and good food to the Sweden's people and make the more customers from the
city. These all information will be very useful in the future and it is goof for our restaurant.
1.3 Internal and external sources of information and understanding & justification their
suitability and reliability in relation to the business
In every business should to collect some information and knowledge for the good start
up of business. In our restaurant business can get the information and knowledge from the
internal and external sources. In the internal sources business can get some financial information
for the investment and run the business, marketing information for explore our business in the
market and make the customers form the market, some purchasing, sales and manufacturing

information of the business, so business can fix before, that how much food will be consumed by
people and their need. So these all internal sources are very reliable and suitable for the business
and restaurant, because these all sources gives us very important knowledge and information
about market, sales, purchase and employee which can be best for the restaurant.
For collect the information and knowledge business can use external sources, so all things
can clear of the start up time. In external sources business can get information from government.
Government can gives some legal information about place, city, food, licence and may more.
Some of external sources are database & research, commercially provided and most important
sources is Trade grouping (Choo, Detlor and Turnbull, 2013). Trade grouping is the most
reliable and suitable for our restaurant, because it is the information and knowledge of same
industry, like food purchasing, selling, about food, about working area, about investment,
expenses and many more information business can get from Trade grouping.
1.4 Recommendation of improvements in the methods used in the selection and justification the
information needed for business start ups
In the internal sources and external sources, business can use any of the source for the restaurant,
but business should do some improvement in that sources. If business are getting an information
and knowledge from marketing then business should get the information about how much
employee business need, how much area business cam cover but marketing, because its a start up
of our business and in begging business should focus on only main thing and costing.
For getting financial information, then business can get the information like how much
fund need in beginning, how much fund can be use for the infrastructure, furniture and marketing
and most important thing is how business can save the fund in every situation and get the
information and knowledge.
If business are getting information from Trade Groupings, then business should ensure
that how much information business have to get and what informations are best for our business,
but be careful from them, because they are the leader in the market and they know all strategy in
restaurant business, so business should not give any of the information to them. These all
improvement business can bring in the business of restaurant. A good start up need some

business or who work in the external level in business. Stakeholder can be creditors, employees,
professional organisation, unions, city, community, suppliers of material, the customer and the
sponsor, manager or team. In our business need to take some good action according to situation.
That stakeholder can take an action according to work or situation. If business hired manager,
the, business need to give some of authority of our business for the taking action on the right
situation. Employees are also stakeholder of our company, business can also need to give some
operational authority to the employee, so they can work easily and complete their work on time
(Goldman and Scardamalia, 2013). Suppliers are explore our business in the market, because
they are the selling agent or dealer of our business, so business can need to give them a specific
area, in that area they can easily give the services. Some stakeholder can be customers,
professionals and community, who are the best stakeholder of our company, they can help us to
explore our business. Through these all stakeholders and their action business can grow fast and
get the profit according to time.

behave with customers and most important thing, how to attract the people and how to handle
team. After then business ned to make a price strategy like make a menu card of our dishes,
which business will provide to the customers and the price should be according to food and
affordable. business should make a plan for location, so people can easily found the restaurant
and visit easily. Location should be on main road, near of collages, universities, corporate offices
and where people are most living, so location is the main point in restaurant business and these

making price and location strategies, business need to make one more strategy for the future

motivational training session. From these all activities I will be able to communicate with anyone

From the above report it is concluded that in a start up business of restaurant first business need
to make a plan for business. After that business need some stakeholders, which can hire from
outside of the market. Then described about business relation, price strategy and location
strategy, strategies for future improvements, effective decision taking in relation to starting up a
business and improvements in the methods used in the selection information needed for business
start ups.

communications process should be use, what different between existing communications process
and another communications process. After that these all explained according to me. And at last
