The restaurant business is one of the most service oriented business. Even though the major
product is food, people still go and judge the restaurant based on the service it provides. It
is essential to understand how service plays an important role in customer satisfaction
(Gheribi, 2017).
Any restaurant business can flourish only when the people there are clear on the kind of
service they want to provide to their people, and how they plan to do it. The service
standards are constantly rising and it is important to adhere to them.
In this report, we will analyse how training the employees and the staff is essential towards
improving the service of the restaurants and subsequently giving the customers a nice
dining experience as well. Staff training is an essential need and for a service-oriented
environment such as that of restaurants,, it is even more important.
Business Organization
There are several restaurant business organizations implementing this model of service and
training. These restaurants realise that it is extremely important to train their staff so that
they are able to provide their customers with good services.
The question arises how does the training add to the success of the restaurant and if there
are any existing restaurant business that is working on it already (Bond, 2016).
In my knowledge so far, there are two restaurants that have implemented the staff training
model so far. They are Little Bird's Diner and Melinda's. While the Little Bird’s Diner is a café,
Melinda's is a fine dining restaurant.
It is important to successfully implement this strategy as it adds to the overall customer
experience. A happy customer is a loyal customer and this is what is needed right now. In
order for the restaurant business to run, we need to ensure that all our customers are
retained. Food alone cannot do this and it has to be complemented by the service which we

ensure that they are able to present themselves as a premium to the customers (Everrete,
2019). the results of this are quite surprising as people do prefer to visit this place simply
because they enjoy the courteous staff and how much they take care of each and everything
for the guests. They have been reviewed online and several food critics have also given the
restaurants good recommendations simply because of their services too. While their food is
good, the point that they serve it with professionalism (with a hint of personal) makes all
the difference. This is the probably turning points in all the business (Restaurant Business
Staff, 2018).
For our business to succeed it is essential to apply this model and ensure that it increases
efficiency and productivity as well. without this, the model will simply be more confusing
and will add to the trouble of the business only. Hence, planning and proper execution of
these strategies are essential and they have to be constantly monitored for any revision
whatsoever.

For the business to see growth, it is important to be well versed with the inside and the
outside environment that it is currently running in. the restaurant industry is fast-paced. The
consumer culture which has been established never really allows the industry to settle there
are innovations of all kinds happening. In order to improve the situation, our restaurant has
to apply the following two techniques:

It is essential to keep the employees trained. They don't have to be trained in a regular way
but have to be aware of all the changes which are happening in an around the restaurant

has an MIS or the latest serving trends. All of these have to be taught to these staff
