Introduction
For this research on finding an appropriate location for the restaurant, understanding both
practical examples and customer’s perception are equally important. The identified research
questions will use both primary and secondary data considering the specific question. The
primary data are collected from the grass root level of the research which is not authentic like the
secondary data.
The data collection method
The secondary data is reliable and valid than the primary data, because it is authentic and
accepted (Alavi, Archibald, McMaster, Lopez & Cleary, 2018). Surveys will be arranged for
understanding the customer's perception. The primary data will be gathered depending on the
customer’s point of view. The list of questions in the survey questionnaire will contain 10
different questions regarding the business location of a restaurant. The survey question will
include the research questions which will be close-ended and can easily be answered by the
customers.
Especially, the hypotheses, which are selected for the research, will be analysed by using the
research survey questionnaire. The significance of the restaurant's location and its impact on the
success factor of the restaurant will be the first hypothesis and this will be evaluated from the
answers of the customers (Bilau, Witt & Lill, 2018). Besides that, the dependency of customer
loyalty and its relation with the location of the restaurant will be part of the data collection
process.

For the secondary data collection different database searches will be done for non-traditional
food restaurants available on online resources. In addition to that, the international media will be
used for business location selection from the famous food magazines. Finally, the third source of
secondary data will be the documents of Kishimoto, which will help in understanding the
different growth factors related to the location of the restaurant (Clarke, 2018). The secondary
data collection process will help to find out the scope of the research study including
unconventional cuisine of Kishimoto.
This research will be focused on using the mixed method for collecting both the primary and
secondary data. The concurrent triangulation design will be the base of the mixed method used
for this business location selection. By using this design, both the quantitative and qualitative
data collection will be done in one phase concurrently. In this process, separate data collection is
the first stage and the data will be combined are compared after that (Lu & Stepchenkova, 2015).
The data collection type
There is a different type of data or information, which will be collected for this research. By
using the survey technique on the customers of Kishimoto, the quantitative data will be gathered,
which are basic statistics related to business location. However, there are also business reports of
the restaurant from different branches in India, which will assist in investigating the business
growth of an unconventional cuisine in the different culture (Gopinath, Johansen & Derelöv,
2018).
There are also alternative ways, which will be used for information or data gathering for this
research. Different famous international food magazine like The art of eating, Cooks Illustrated,
Bon appetit, Eating well will be used for the qualitative data gathering. These magazines not

only analyse the food industry or restaurant businesses but also provide the customer's
expectation from a food business or restaurant. Besides that, online data sources provide
important information regarding the business location of the food industry (Hollway, 2018).
Therefore; the online data sources will be part of the knowledge gathering regarding the
unconventional food cuisine in the different culture. Chandigarh is one of the renowned cities of
India. The restaurant business in this city is counted as one of the beneficial profit-making
industry for the government. Therefore; using the government data regarding the restaurant
business in this city will also be helpful for the data collection process (Krippendorff, 2018).
The sampling technique
For this research, participants will be selected for the survey technique. Mainly, the survey will
provide the quantitative data, which is primary data in nature. The first restaurant branch of
Kishimoto restaurant is selected for the use of survey technique. The customers of this branch
will be used as the sample of the survey. The sampling process needs a sample population. For
this research, the total sample population will be 100. Selecting the sample size is required for
understanding the specific number of participation. For choosing the sample size the random
probability sampling process will be used as the method. As per this method, the bias nature of
sample selection can be reduced easily (Mansell & Huddy, 2018). That is the main reason why
the random probability sampling process will be used. 55 participants will be selected from the
total sample population. For this participant selection, 55 customers will be part of the research
study for understanding the best business location for the restaurant.

Data analysis
Analysing the information or data is the most important part of a research project. Choosing the
appropriate type of data analysing process will provide the best information for achieving the
research purpose and fulfilling the queries of the research questions. There are mainly two
different types of data analysis method; those are quantitative data analysis and qualitative data
analysis. The quantitative data analysis refers to the data analysis process, which focuses on
analysing statistics and numbers from the gather data or information (Meredith, Dicks, Noel &
Wagstaff, 2018). However, the qualitative data analysis process focuses on analysing the
descriptive answers, which are mainly part of the open-ended questions. The qualitative data
analysis process helps in providing the best in-depth information from the collected data. The
research questions and hypothesis indicate both the open-ended and closed-ended questions. The
primary data, which are collected from the customers will be analysed by using the quantitative
data analysis process. This data will provide statistical numeric values that need to be analysed
with quantitative data analysis process. Besides that, the secondary data, which will be collected
from the business report, government report, media, online databases are authentic data and
depth knowledge about the research questions (Shrivastava, Shah & Navaid, 2018). Therefore,
the qualitative data analysis process will be used for this secondary data analysis.
For validating the findings from both the quantitative and qualitative data, the researcher will be
used the data triangulation process, which will be best for concluding the results of the research.
The data triangulation process will help in analysing both the quantitative and qualitative data for
developing the best conclusion from the research findings.

Ethical considerations
There are different ethical issues are identified in this research. In this research, the identification
of the participants is part of the research ethical concern. The main focus is given on developing
the ethical standards while conducting the entire research from primary research goal selection to
data analysis. For instance, special focus is given on maintaining objectivity, honesty, social
responsibility, intellectual property; non-discrimination and confidentiality while the process of
data collection and data analysis (Whicher, Philbin & Aronson, 2018). Avoiding misconduct is
one of the main focuses of the researcher while taking different decisions regarding the research.
The data collected from the different type of Data Collection method will only be used by the
researcher for the research purpose.
Therefore, for minimising the bias nature of the research the use of consent form will be helpful.
For maintaining the ethical standards, the use of consent form will increase the authenticity and
validity of the data (Meredith, Dicks, Noel & Wagstaff, 2018).
Conclusion
Using this form by the researcher indicates different issues which will be taken care of by the
