INTRODUCTION
This report aims to determine an area of occupation for completion of education. In this report
considering the job role in retail industry and the skills required to enhance the organisation or
for personal growth. The skills required are time management, teamwork, decision making
skills, communication, digital literacy, managing risk, and many more (Kosztolánczy, 2021). In
this report will cover the ability and power that decide the career action plan and personal
analysis of an individuals. In last will design a CV that will help in representing the person in
reputed organisation.
MAIN BODY
Elaborate the strength and weaknesses-
Here considering the retail industry, it provides diverse and unique career path where the person
could operate for some of the well recognized brands. The industry majorly focus on making
the profit, increasing sales, product creativity or maintaining customer relationship. It plays a
major role in developing the GDP rate. Its operating areas are the planning, logistics, store
operations, human resources, training, finance and administration, buying, marketing and
information technology (Kim, and Shin, 2020). Positions in retail industry highly depends on
the size or what the company is offering in the market place. All the position must have the
knowledge regarding the product and the requirement of the consumers. For managing my job
role I used varied strength to make the work more easy and improve the weaknesses so that I
can use my improved skills in organisation growth. The strength and weaknesses are listed
below.
Strength
Teamwork – Various task in industry are operates on the basis of team for making the
work more effective. Because of this, the freshers must be able of working more
powerfully with the team and listen actively the team mates so that they can share their
views in team easily and freely without hesitating sometimes some of team members
gets aggressive in team meetings it is the responsibility of the manager to tackle them
calmly. This skill of mine assist in leading the team and attaining the goal successfully
(Johnstone, and Lucke, 2021).

Time management - In this ability I used to submit my projects and report on the
deadlines. And this is the responsibility of the individual to submit the report on time so
that work can be done on time and on deadline (Lucherini, 2020.). This gives the good
image in the organisation and reputation in the workplace. Every company needs the
person who is punctual and having a positive attitude In their personality contributes in
achieving the goals on time.
Decision making skills - after analysing the situation and market conditions I make
the decision that is beneficial for the company in positive way. The company requires a
conclusion that is good for the company and gives the good growth to the organisation. I
used to make a strategy with including the upper level managers with all reports and
details that are collected by the team so that a particular decision can be made that assist
the company in growing (Greenhaus, Callanan, and Godshalk, 2018).
Weaknesses
Communication - retail managers might have to deal in an effective manner while
interoperating with any other individuals. It might also involves business consumers,
workers and social unit associates and many more. They might be well effective in
managerial and social communication. It will involves planning and arranging consumer
facilities, they set warehouse, catalogue products, products despatch and procedures
shipments. I am not so good in communicating with others I am not capable of sharing
the presentation in public or in the front of audiences. These are the points where are I
lack my confidence. I can lead a team but when its times to communicate with them on a
serious issues I have a solutions too but I cant make understand them my point. And I
am working on it by presenting the presentation in the public more over I start interacting
with the colleagues on business topics and discussing on the issues (Godden, 2020).
Digital literacy - In this retail section it is require that sort of specialized abilities and
practices. He might be capable to create utilisation of various techniques and new
approaches and techniques that are fabrication and distributing of the products and
services as effectively. At the present period of time, techniques that are processing by
which logistic manager might be capable to engage optimal sections of the contented by
creating utilisation of activity engine optimization and it might be capable to make and
change warehouse fields as effectively and efficiently.

Managing risk - In retail section the involvement of risk is high. And in am not good
at controlling or managing the risk with In the workplace. I got frustrated and panic in
this situation and that leads to loss in the organisation. That may leads to keep me back
in reputed company as I wish to manage the retail sector so I should know about the
how to manage the risk in a organisation. I am working to overcome this weakness by
managing the company as manager in retail industry (Gatrell, 2019).
The above discussed point shows that how my strengths are useful in enhancing the industry
in market or in global market it gives the increment in brand image and increase the sales
volume that is the major motive of the company and I am constantly working on my weaknesses
