INTRODUCTION
In this advancing and modern life, every individual is choosing their unique profession in
order top bring something new within this community. As soon as the students become graduate,
they start planning for their future goals and career development plans in order to earn the
livelihood in order to fulfil individual requirements or their family needs. This report will cover
the recent trends which impacts on the retail industry. Although this report will also provide the
skills and qualification and experience which is required for the post of HR-Marketing within
the retail sector industry.
Moreover, in order to proceed in such future oriented thoughts and career development
plans, I have completed my graduation MBA in HR.-marketing. So I want to see myself at the
post of the HR.-Marketing within most popular retail sector industry within next 5 years.

There is a huge advancement in the Retail industry within few years as the evolution of
the technology has rapidly transformed the way in which goods and services are offered to
customers. Along with this, recent trends in terms of information and technology have influenced
the customers to consume the services from the retail industry (Bamfield, 2018). Due to the such
changes within the society, the retail industry has undergone a significant transformation over the
past decade which continues to evolve quickly. There are huge trends and advancement within
the market which leads to the great impact on the retail industry. Such trends which impacts the
retail industry are as described below:
E-commerce
It has become one of the most popular shopping medium all over the world which can be
considered as a recent trend within the retail industry. Along with this, online market have been
expanded and developed its strong presence in this real world. Also, exchange of goods and
services online have become more easier for the customer and thus it have gained a strong
popularity within a short period of time. However, this trend have not only provides the flexible
market and easy approachability to the customers but online shopping also provides the option of
comparing the prices and quality of the goods with other retailing brands (Nalawade, More and
Bhola, 2019). This provides the ultimate satisfaction among the customers so the retailers are

past decade which continues to evolve quickly. There are huge trends and advancement within
the market which leads to the great impact on the retail industry. Such trends which impacts the
retail industry are as described below:

customers. E-commerce leads to huge negative impact on the HR.-Marketing profession as all
the social media and technology have promoted the concept of promotion and marketing which
requires less human efforts. Also employee which is hired at the position of HR.- marketing
consumes huge salary as compared to the marketing via technology (Sotiriadis and Varvaressos,
2016). Therefore, it requires the huge technical as well as IT skills to operate such software
within the Retail industry.
The rise of the Experimental retail
As traditional method of selling the goods and services to the customer restricts them to
purchase the products. Although, in old model where the goods are available at store so
somehow retailer convinces the customer to buy the goods among such available products by
providing the substitute. However, the technological improvement have offered the huge
opportunities to the new entrepreneur in the market (Nguyen and Simkin, 2017). So it have
increased the competition among various retail industries within the market as new entrants
come up with the new ideas and innovative concepts which are largely supported by the
consumers. New trend of the Online stores have supported the ideas as well reduced the cost of
the physical store availability which raise huge operational costs. Therefore, it leads to the great
impact on the HR.-Marketing position as it online marketing does not require any extra skills and
also it consumes the minimum costs.
The Rise of the Subscription E-commerce
Today the Buyers are increasingly seeking the shopping which is tailored to their
preferences and delivered directly to their doors. Therefore, the deriving the maximum
profitability via software programs, these trends have resulted in the emergence of the
subscription E-commerce. So the trend goes hand in hand with the users. This have largely
impacted on the position of the human resource Marketing director in which technology has all
the power to perform all the marketing functions within a one click. This is largely a result of the
changing methods in which the consumers employ to make shopping decisions.

business. Leadership skills: This leadership skill allow manager to motivate the staff to meet the
main objectives of the organization. Leadership skills helps in team building and also
collaborate and coordinate the efforts of the staff members with each other in order to
deliver the effective and efficient output within the firm. Strategies: This is one of the important skill and knowledge which is required by the
HR.-Marketing manager (Schultz, 2016). As the periodic development of the strategies
within the organization will allow the organization to achieve the growth and sustainable
development. This is one of the main skill which is directly associated with strengthening
the goals and objectives within the retail industry. Decision making: This knowledge helps in making the efficient decisions which
promotes the growth as well as creates the positive environment at workplace. Also,

There is no maximum practical knowledge is required for the position of the HR.-
Marketing manager but strong practices and internship within the reputed company will allow
the graduates to apply for this post within the ret ailing sector.
EVALUATION
As I had done a graduation under the HR.-marketing so I have in depth information about
various marketing as well as human resource strategies. Therefore, I wanted to apply at the
position as I wanted to use my knowledge and skills practically in order to make the company
towards the growth and sustainability. I found my potentialities within managing the human
resource of the company which helps me retain the employees and motivate them to adopt such
strategical changes within the organization. Although, I have a strong communication skills
which derives confidence among me so it will help me in developing a marketing strategies for
the retail organization.
However, my knowledge and skills are totally based on the theoretical aspects but I have
a strong potential to convert such skills into this practical based society. Moreover, I choose HR
marketing as a profession because I have grown up with the passion and compassion. This
passion results in team building skills, influencing the customers to change the buying decision
which helps me to sell the product in any circumstances.
