INTRODUCTION
Education and training sector plays an important role in the life of an individual as it
decide the future. The career of an individual is very important and that's why it becomes
necessary that they should get effective training and education so that they will develop skills
and knowledge (Calderon and et.al., 2018). This will helps in growing a career of an individuals
brightly. This report will be discussing aims of education and training, philosophical issues, key
qualifications, learning programmes, approach of delivering programme, inclusiveness in
approach, teaching and learning resources, etc. It will also discuss the importance of liaising with
other teachers in the school or college in order to meet the learner's need. In addition to this, it
will also discuss the identification of own strengths and weakness.

1.1 Explain aims of education and training in own specialist area
In management accounting, the aim of education and training is to ensure that all students
get to know the importance of managerial accounting in the business (Houke, 2017). It is
necessary for students that they should know about that how they will maximises the profits of
company and minimise losses. Management accounting is the study of managing the accounting
transactions of an organisation in order to maximise their profits. In today's complex business
environment, every company is finding employees who are poficinet in management accounting
as accounting is an important part of the company's success and growth. This is the main aim of
education and training of management accounting.
1.2 Philosophical issues relating to education and training in own specialist area
It is found that there are many philosophical issues come in the education and training of
management accounting. This is necessary for teachers that they should resolve all the
philosophical issues in order to provide effective learning program. Some important
philosophical issues are critical thinking, indoctrination, society, autonomy, moral education,
curriculum, feminism, multiculturalism, etc. These are the some important issues that should be
resolve in the process of education and training of management accounting. For example,

multiculturalism is focusing on importance of diversity in which teachers should provide
learning all students. This becomes an important issues in the education process as it is not easy.
2.1 Aims and structure of key qualifications in own specialist area
For a management accounting teacher, it is very important for teachers that they should
possess some important qualification so that they can teach their students effectively (Creel and
Paz, 2018). Some important key qualifications of management accounting are knowledge of
business analytics, handling automated processes, programming languages, etc. These are the
some key qualifications and it is also necessary that it should have a proper structure so that a
teacher is able to teach management accounting in an effective way.
2.2 Aims and structure of learning programmes in own specialist area
Learning programmes are the activities that developed for the purpose of providing
effective learning about the subject matter. For example, in management accounting, it is
necessary for a teachers that they should develop a learning programmes such as a lecture, class,
or meeting in order to provide knowledge of subject matter. Learning programmes of
management accounting are including learning and assessment activities such as presentation,
video lectures, etc.
4.1 Ways of teaching and learning resources used in order to meet the individual needs of
learners
It is necessary for a management accounting teacher that they should use teaching and
learning resources in such a ways which assists in meeting the learner's needs. After pandemic
situation, it is found that now educational institutions are using new and emerging technologies
for the purpose of teaching such as software that provide e-learning opportunities. In
management accounting, resources such as audio video presentations, online lectures,
calculators, etc. are necessary in order to meet the individual needs of learners.

2.3 Own approach to plan and prepare for the delivery of a learning programme in order to meet
the aims of own specialist area
In order to deliver programme, it is necessary for a management accounting teacher that
they should use resources in an appropriate way. For the purpose of delivering learning
programme, every teacher has their own way (Samuel, 2018). It is very important for teacher that

they should plan and prepare for delivering learning programmes. Some important modes of
delivery are flipped classroom, work based learning, problem based learning, student led
learning, and blended learning. In management accounting, work based learning is effective as it
provides real life work experience to the students so that they can learn and improve their
employability skills.
3.2 Explain how own approach takes account of key curriculum issues and also include role of
new and emerging technologies
It is found that after pandemic situation, there are some curriculum issues are identified
which create complexity for management accounting teacher that how they can provide learning
and teaching to the students. Some curriculum issues are including emerging technologies, policy
changes, demographic changes, refugee and immigration issues, globalization, etc. In these
issues, emerging technologies is becoming on of the important issue as it is found that everyday
educational institution are focusing on using technologies for the purpose of provide learning.
But it becomes tough for teachers as well as students to understand the use of new and emerging
technologies.
3.1 Inclusiveness of own approach to plan and prepare of learning programme
Inclusiveness is important in the education as it is crucial for all students. It is found that
all students have a right to get equal learning opportunities in education whether they are disable
or not. In the classroom, it is crucial for a management accounting teacher that they should
provide learning to all students even who are disable so that they can learn about the
management accounting. This can be possible when a teacher has inclusiveness in their approach
(Ugrin and et.al., 2021). That means in work based learning, it is crucial for a teacher that they
should give practical experience to all the students so that all students are able to apply in their
practices. This will assists in meeting the needs of individual learners.
4.2 Inclusiveness of own use of teaching and learning resources
Inclusiveness should be present in teaching and learning resources. For example, students
who have not possess laptops and computers for e-learning, then it becomes necessary for
educational institution that they should provide these resources so that they will be able to
provide learning to all the students. In order to teach management accounting, calculators are the
basic resources which should be available to all the students.

5.1 Liaise with others to develop own practice
Liaise is refers to the communication, cooperation and mutual concern between people. It
is found that there are many situations come in the process of teaching where it is necessary for a
management accounting teacher to communicate with other teachers so that they will provide
effective learning (Giraud and Saulpic, 2019). For example, a school which conducts a seminar
of management accounting in which all the teachers are including for making a successful
seminar. In this seminar, it is very important for all the teachers that they should liaise with each
others which can be done with the help of cooperation and coordination. This will assists
teachers in order to develop their own practice. When they are liaising with other teachers then
they will get to know more about their subject, this will makes them more specialist in the
subjects as every teachers has certain more knowledge as compared to other one. This is very
important for the teachers that they should stop to share their knowledge and experiences with
others. For more effective development, liaise can be also done in the form of peer review,
professional network, mentoring relationship, etc.
Peer review is one of the effective way of liaising as it is concerned with the evaluation
of work by one or more teacher. All teachers should possess same level of competencies. This
will ensures about the quality of articles as it removes all the poor work by evaluating with two
more more teachers. This can be done internally or externally. Professional networking is one of
the important way of liaise with other as it assists in expanding of knowledge and capability by
investing on relationships with other professionals (Stanciu, 2019). These are the some important
ways which are effective for developing own area and makes a teacher more specialist in their
subject. On the other hand, mentoring relationship is also an effective way to liaise with others.
There are many situations occurred in the education and learning sector where it is necessary for
the teachers to learn about the maintaining relationships with other teachers.
5.2 Impact of liaison with other teachers and trainers
With the help of liaison with other teachers and trainers, a management accounting
teacher becomes specialist and more knowledgeable person in their own field. This will helps
them to achieve their objective in an effective way (Ugrin and et.al). It assists in making a
teacher specialist that increases the growth opportunities of career. This is necessary for teachers

that they should liaise with other teachers as they will get to know about the new knowledge and
information in their filed. This will not only impact on teachers but also gives an impact on
students also. Due to liaison with other teachers and trainers, a management accounting teachers
has now expertise in their own subject and they provide learning to all the students accordingly.
Students will get better learning and authenticated information which improves their skills and
knowledge in a particular subject. In this process, professional networking, peer review, and
mentoring relationships are important. These methods makes a teacher more knowledgeable.
They have an opportunity to grow their career as they will get better school or college jobs. In
addition to this, they have many options such as open coaching, counselling sessions, business
management, etc. they also are able to work in the organisations as companies are finding those
person who are proficient in management accounting. This is necessary for a teacher to include
in each activity in order to improves their own practice.

6.1 Review effectiveness of knowledge and skills
In order to teach management accounting, it is very important for me that I have to
possess all the skills and knowledge which assists me to provide effective learning to students. I
found that I have a positive attitude which is an important skills that should be present in all
teachers while they are taking lectures. For the purpose of teaching accounting management, it is
crucial for me to have a good knowledge of this subject. Knowledge of subject is very important
as I have no knowledge then how it is possible for me to teach management accounting. This
subject is practical in nature so that's why not only theoretical but also practical knowledge
should be possess so that I will be able to teach my students. Practical applicability of
management accounting is necessary to understand by the students so that they will apply in their
career (Vendrzyk and Bagranoff, 2018). In addition to the knowledge, it is crucial for me to have
some important skills in order to teach management accounting. I should possess effective
communication skills, mathematics skills, accounting skills, leadership skills, etc. These are very
important so that I will be able to give training and educating the subject. In addition to this, I am
using engagement of students in my lectures so that every students gets an opportunity to learn
the subject effectively.

6.2 Identify own strengths and areas for improvement
As a teacher of management accounting, it is crucial for me that I have to find my own
strengths and weaknesses. So that I will be able to work on my weak areas. I found that there are
some areas where I am good such as knowledge of subject, accounting skills, leadership skills,
calculation skills, problem solving skills, etc. In addition to this, I also found some areas where I
need to take action in order to improve them. Areas of improvement are communication skills,
new and emerging technologies, etc. These are the important where I need to work on so that I
will be able to teach my students in an effective way. It is also identified that a teachers should
possess all the necessary qualities in order to provide lectures to the students. This is not only the
duty but also the responsibility of teachers that they should provide effective learning
programmes of their subject.
6.3 Identify opportunities to improve and update own knowledge and skills
After finding my lack areas I have to work on them so that I will improve my skills and
knowledge. This can be possible with the help of formulating an action plan in which I have to
set SMART objectives. This will assists me to improve and update skills and knowledge in my
own areas. Management accounting is the practical subject which is not easily taught by teachers
(Ardina, Wahyuni and Suarjana, 2021). That's why I have to make an action plan which is
mentioned in the below table:

It can be concluded from the above discussion that it is necessary for students that they

teachers that the should have inclusiveness in their practices so that they will be able to include
all the students. It is the right of students to learn whether they are able or disable. This report

discussed aims of education and training in management accounting. It also discuss the
evaluation of own practice in order to analyse improvement area.
