Introduction
Traffic control is a big problem in the in Madhubani district of Bihar state in India. One of the major
problem is traffic control is a way to emergency vehicle. Different approaches are used for the traffic
management included image processing, thermal imaging, IOT system and others. In this project, it is
based on smart traffic management system such as RFID technology. The main focus of this system is
control of traffic signals to detect the emergency vehicle. RFID technology warrants minimal amount of
time needed for the emergency vehicle to reach the destination for increasing survival of patient. The
project is launched in Bihar where traffic control is a challenge. Following are the objectives of this project
plan such as:
o To reduce traffic congestion in North India by the year 2019 with an investment of AUD50,000
o To reduce congestion on the road
o To control vehicle theft and control the pollution from old vehicles
o To provide effective road toll collection
The main aim of this project plan is to discuss about the project budget as well as resource allocation.
The cost breakdown of the project is shown in Ms Project with detailing total project schedule of this plan.
A project charter is also provided with discussing the project deliverables, time and resources required.

Risk Analysis
In order to complete the project work successfully, there is identification and mitigation of project risks
which can cause delay in the project. Following are the project risks and its respective solutions are
provided as:
Design risk: At the time of managing the traffic on the road by means of RFID technology, there are
possibility of design risk of the system which cause the project to be delayed and additional cost. It is
solved by proper maintenance of the system equipments and machineries which are required to
implement the RFID technology in the vehicles.
Supplier risk: The supplier is not able to deliver the required materials and products to the client
organization at scheduled time which leads to project delay. Therefore, the organization is required to
implement a schedule for the supplier so that they can deliver the product at right time.
Resource risk: There is lack of resources involved into the project as the organization hired small
number of resources into the project. It is solved by hiring of more resources into the project.
Technology risk: There is failure of the RFID technology which is required to implement traffic control
system such as overlapping of RFID reader and radio interference. It is solved by proper maintenance of
the technology and testing on weekly basis.
