This report details the design and implementation of an RFID-based warehouse management system. The project, conducted at Novatex Ltd. and for N.E.D University, focused on using RFID technology to control the entry and exit of products in a warehouse. The student's role involved hardware specifications, Arduino algorithm development for RFID tag detection, and database application development using C# in Visual Studio. The report covers the project's objectives, the engineering knowledge and skills applied, including the use of UHF RFID antennas, DBMS application, and Microsoft Message Queuing services. The report also discusses the innovative aspects of connecting the DBMS with the SQL server for managing and observing information, along with the challenges faced and their solutions, such as issues with setting static IP addresses and data transfer flaws. The student collaborated with team members and a supervisor to achieve project goals, highlighting the system's applications in supply chain management and real-time location tracking.
