Introduction
Organisational management is the art of gathering people together on a single platform,
and motivate them in order to perform a common pre-defined work goals. This would provide a
direction to employees so that they are well aware with their roles and responsibilities within an
organisation. The main feature of organisational and management in the organisation is planning,
organizing, staffing, leading, controlling, time management and motivation (Bura and
Choudhary, 2020). All these things are necessary for the growth of the company and building a
strong image in market. In this project the chosen organisation is Rightmove Plc., is a UK based
organisation which run an online portal for the online real estate and property website. Company
is founded in 2000 and headquarter is in London, UK. This project include structure,
management and governed structure of the chosen organisation and importance of PESTEL
analysis.
Main Body
Task 1
Overview of chosen company
Rightmove is the number one UK Company, which is formed in 2000. This provide an
online platform which are related to property and real estate. This company is free to customer,
where customer, sellers and landlords are comes at their portal and business transactions are
completed on the basis of their needs. They provide a sophisticated, simple, and property search
platform make easy for the human hunters to find it easy their happiness. Their primary
customers are estate agent, lettings agent and new home developer. Furthermore they elaborate
their services by letting agent in 2004. Furthermore Rightmove Plc., floated at London stock
exchange on 15th march 2006. In 2007, they first introduced property advertisement products and
now they are serving best property related products. In 2020, their 20th anniversary and their best
contribution while employing 5000 members who are using their online property advertisement
on right move (Deakin, 2019). They are using tall organisational structure where all the roles and
responsibilities are assigned and people are well aware with their work and responsibilities. The
span of control is divided in between their directors and other board’s members.

In Rightmove Plc., there are seven boards of directors, who performed their duties in
order to complete their goals. Their information are explained below:
Andrew Fisher: Chairperson of the company
Andrew has background in building, digital, media and entrepreneur business and they are
performing high growth to perform various functions. And he joined company in 1st January
2020.
Peter Brooks-Johnson: Chief Executives Directors
He joined the company in 10 January 2011, on the post of CEO of the Rightmove plc. He has
many experience in online media tools and property markets furthermore, he developed the
right move’s Business plan and strategies to make the company high position in market.
Alison Dolan: Chief Financial Officers
She appointed as the post of CFO in 7th September 2020 within the organisation. She completed
her master’s in business studies. Her role is control all financial conditions and issues occurring
within the organisation.
Jacqueline De Rojas CBE: Senior independent Non-executive Directors
She is appointed as the boards of director on 30th December 2016. She is the technical leader
with many years of experience in software companies. She has an impressive knowledge which
are required to promoting technologies based solution and cyber related issues.
Rakhi Goss: Custard: Non-executive director
She is work on this post from 28th July 2014. She have a great knowledge related to customer
and customer experience innovation. She work with wide range of digital products, desktop and
mobile related software.
Andrew Findlay: Non-executive director
He is a chartered accountant with a great wealth of financial expertise knowledge. He appointed
on this post on 1st June 2017. He has a strong customer centric background and a deep
knowledge of financial and risk management reporting.

non-executive directors whereas 4 are executive director of the company. Executive directors are
the one who manage all the responsibilities and they employed for the full time in the
organisation. While another non-executive director are the one who are the member of the boards
but not responsible for management responsibilities (Hanft and et.al., 2016). Andrew Fisher, is
the chairperson of the company whereas Peter Brooks-Johnson is the chief executives director of
the company.

Importance of PESTEL
Pestle analysis is the framework which is used by marketers to evaluate the different
factors which affect the macro environment of the business. The result of Pestle analysis is used
by the organisation to identifying the threat and opportunities of the business. Pestle stand for
Political, economic, social, technology, environment and legal. To analysis the Pestle it is
important as it help in the growth of the businesses either existing business or new business. All
the factors which include in Pestle will be effective and useful for the growth of the company.
Political factors: political factors are strongly influence on a long term impact which
actually affect the sustainability and profitability of the business (Harris and et.al., 2021). The

presence of international business are increase the company's sensitivity which change the
political environmental factors to affect the different countries.
Economic factors: It is very important to know about the economic factors which
actually include foreign exchange rate, interest rate, local market rates, and many more rates and
taxes. All these factors economically determines the economic environment of the company and
reflect the growth of company. A detailed analysis of the economic factors can easily improve
the growth of the industry and the organisation. These factors can be further broken down into
macro environment and micro environment factors.
Social factors: This include socio culture factors which actually involve the belief of the
customer by completing their market demand in the ethical manner. These factors include;
population, growth, age, health, gender and many factors which actually affect the growth of the
company due to presence of social factors. These factors are important as because directly impact
on marketers and understand customers and their needs. They help in considering business cycle
and its stages.
Technological factors: In the technological factors, the digital marketing and its platform
is important component of company and their growth in market (Maqbool and Rashid, 2017).
The change in the technology and its impact on the business may provide a great market for
products and services. Technological factors may be impact on helping producing goods and
services, distributing the products and communicate that new targets in the market.
Environmental factors: It is the fifth aspect in Pestle analysis, and it is important for the
concept of changing climatic conditions which comes when a proper environmental analysis is
conducted. The environmental factors are related to laws, regulation and policies which are
related to company across different markets. The international presence of the different
companies require different environmental factors. This is analysis to avoid the desired of the
company and its environmental factors which affect the lifestyle of local and foreign people.
Legal factors: This is the last factor of the pestle framework, no business can enter into

organisation and its industry (Marchington and et.al., 2016). A careful evaluation of the legal
factors are very helpful for the companies as it will save them to avoid some serious trouble. And
while ignoring different factors may cause some undesired circumstances for the different

these pestle analysis influence the company’s external environment in different ways:
Political factors: There are various factors which affect the decision of political factors,
changing different policies, protests which are related to protest groups, high rate of
corruptions and trade policies all are Affect Company’s environmental decision.
Economic factors: Factors which influence the decision of business cycle stage, inflation
rate, different and influencing labour market conditions, financial and economic market
structure. All are affect the economic decision of rightmove plc.
Social factors: Demographic trends, equity distance, gender roles, society distribution,
online shopping and changing spending pattern if the company which affect the sales and
profit ratio of the company and also effect the decision making of internal and external
