1HEALTH CARE ENVIRONMENT
Question no 1
All the health care organizations have some administrative role regarding the oversight of
the risk management policies that ensures the compliance with the medical care organization
standards. The health care administrators always provide the patients with the better facilities
that should improve the performance of the health care practitioners in all departments of the
medical care organizations (Lee & Porter, 2013). They should look over all the things like the
development of the infrastructure, implementation of the policies and looking after the fact if
everything is looked after properly indeed. The management programs will be looked after by
them as well (Brach et al., 2012). They should create and administer the value-based programs
all over the medical care organizations. They should also make sure that the financial success of
the organizations should be secured properly. The delivery approaches will have to be looked
after by them properly indeed. The results of all the operations should be evaluated regularly so
the risks can be identified and proper goals can be achieved indeed (Lee & Porter, 2013).
Question 2
The risk management strategies should be implemented properly by the organization as a
part of their value-based programs. The typical medical care organizations (MCO) should always
consult with the higher management or the different stakeholders about what should be done
regarding the risks (Bao, Casalino & Pincus, 2013). The conflicts that arise in the operations of
the MCO have to be reconciled properly. The patient conflicts have to be mitigated properly by
all the administrators in the MCO (Brach et al., 2012). The details have to be provided as well.
The supporting evidence will have to be provided in these cases as well. All the specific
instances will have to be submitted regarding the risk negotiation indeed. This will help the

MCO to work better in many areas. The programs will be taken care of by the risk management
team in the MCO. The improvements can be done only after identifying the risks of the value
based programs. The reviews will have to be made periodically indeed (Bao, Casalino & Pincus,
2013) The performance management will be looked after by the experts in this field. The
improvement in the quality will also be looked after by the risk management team in different
cases.
Question 3
The Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (PPACA) have to be ensured properly.
The focus of Center for Medicare and Medical Services (CMS) should be on the providing the
patients with the best services all the time. All the health care organizations should always
provide a quality assessment properly indeed (Lawson & Kopel, 2012) Thus they will need to
make a proper review on all the things that are there in the risk management. The programs will
have to be organized properly. The risk management team of PPACA will look after all the
investigations properly. If the health practitioners do not meet quality standards, they will need to
improve their skills (Lawson & Kopel, 2012). They will also have to comply with the
performance management of the health practitioners to provide the patients with the better
service.
