AI Summary
This report presents a risk management plan developed for an e-learning application, 'Learn with Fun,' designed for special needs children by the Kitchener Waterloo library. The plan identifies potential risks, including process failure (scope, budget, time, and quality), interaction failure (negative user attitudes), and expectation failure (mismatched user expectations). Mitigation strategies are proposed, such as building a robust project management plan, creating a user-friendly interface, and conducting surveys to assess user progress. The goal is to enhance the e-learning system, ensuring its effectiveness and achieving strong market revenue. The report references relevant academic literature and provides a framework for managing and mitigating risks associated with the project.

1RISK MANAGEMENT PLAN
The organization Kitchener Waterloo library is planning to develop an e-learning application
known as Learn with Fun for the special needs children, in order to make the learning fun and
easy. For the project, there can be some risks like Process failure, Interaction Failure and
Expectation failure. The process failure can be while then project will not be completed within
the constraints of scope budget, time and quality (Woźniakowski & Jałowiecki, 2012). In order
to prevent this occurrence, the organization should build a proper project management plan and
have to follow the plan and they need to reach every milestone of the project within set timeline.
Expectation failure will occur if the application does not correspond with the expectations of the
users. For mitigating this risk, they organization have to make the interface of the application
very simple for making this easy for the special needs children to understand and use
(Muqtadiroh, Darmaningrat & Savira, 2017). There can be another failure that is interaction
failure, which can occur when the users express the negative attitude to the application. If the
children with special needs do not understand the system, they will not find the application
appropriate for their use. In order to prevent this risk, the organization has to conduct a survey
for the parents of the children in order to understand whether the children are progressing in
study or not. Identifying the risks and implementing the mitigation strategies, the organization
can enhance their e-learning system for the children with needs and make the business to achieve
great revenue in the market.
