INTRODUCTION
This report on going to explain about the ethical and professional responsibility of the
registered nurse when they are using social media platforms for their personal and professional
use. Social media platform allowed the nurses to connect their personal and professional lives.
Where most of our organisation is is associated to the health related do not allowed the nurses to
use the internet for the nurses and there are some social networking sites which support the
nurses to find their vacant position over the Internet (Arbinaga, 2018). This report is using Gibbs
reflective Cycle I in order to identify few stages of an experience. This report is going to analyze
some strategy in order to identify about the ethical responsibility and maintained that digital
citizenship positively of the registered nurse.
MAIN BODY
Personal and Professional self Reflection
Enhance my career in register nurse Sector I have pursued a suitable course. In this I
gained several knowledge from this course in order to provide best possible care to my patient
that help me to enhance my skills and my career development in order to adopt ethical practices.
During this course I have gone through with several assessment and activities that support me to
develop my skills in context of ethical activities and practices. Adding to my investigation it has
been analyzed that nurses can use social media in a positive manner in order to share their
emotional experience and challenges (Sicora, 2017). As I have there several emotional
experience of mine in the covid-19 pandemic. On the basis of American nurses Association their
code of ethics is that the nurses should measure their postings with the understanding about the
patient Educational Institute employer that potentially gives view on their postings. By using
social media platform the nurses can enhance their career and also enhance their nursing
profession. In I started to study important for the resistor and register an appropriately share their
chemical information and social media about the symptoms of any easy towards the patients so
that they can take care of themselves in a very appropriate manners (Findyartini, and Sudarsono,
2018). In order to adopt ethical practices it is very required for me to organize my activities in a
plant manager so I can provide amended services and best possible care to my patients so that
they can feel more valuable. I have learn several things in order to present myself and to enhance
my confidence in order to getting knowledge which is associated to and to enhance my
confidence in order to getting knowledge which is associated to the registered nurse field. The
three major stress that are very important for me in order to double up my skills during the
course which are mentioned below:
Self-analysis decision making skills and communication these are the skills which helped
me to enhance my career and self improvement. It is very required for me to implement several

strategies because It helped me to provide assistance in order to develop my weak areas in a very
appropriate manner so that I can provide best possible services to my patient. So in order to
overcome the problems and identify the solutions of the problems there is a gifts model of
reflection that I will going to support me in order to enhance my development and career
possibilities.
What are the ethical and legal implications of nurses using social media in the workplace?
In ethical use of social media platform by nurses create valid state and Federal laws which are
formulated to protect patients I think in their privacy. This kind of valuation may be create Civil
and criminal penalties for the nurses. It is very required for the nurses who communicate with
their patients on social media platform they have to observe ethically prescription and boundaries
by using same privacy setting and separation of professional information and their personal
information.
Gibbs model of reflection
Gibbs reflective cycle is the model which is given by the Graham gives in 1988 by his
books learning. This model represent that the people can understand about their learning skills in
a appropriate manner in order to get experience (García Ochoa, McDonald and Monk, 2016).
This model say that if the person cannot reflect their experience then they will not be able all
capable to continuously think about their experience and skills in order to work hard and get
opportunities. This cycle work with 5 steps in order to reflect the experience of the person so that
they can identify the solutions of their problems in get appropriate resolution. This model help
me to identify about my weakness point in order to improve my skills so that I can provide best
services to my patient. Reflection is the very nature aspect for the professional and personal
development which are adopted by the registered nurses in order to undertake several activities
and to keep pace with the modification and dynamic nature of the practices. It support them to
ensure about the effective evidence-based care and safe care by permitting nurses to
continuously improve their skills in order to get opportunities and success.
Description as I always want to start my career in the hospital and Healthcare sector because my
interest in and to provide amended facilities and services to the patients in a very appropriate
manner. That is why I decided to start my career in the registered nurse department so I start a
course in which I can get knowledge about the health care and become capable to have a good
skills and knowledge about the registered nurses responsibility. In this course I get to know about
the information about the responsibilities and roles of nurses in order to increase my skills and
provide best services to my patients (Haenschen, 2020) It is the part of my course in which the
subordinates and the mentors teach me several ways in order to behave with their patient in a
very appropriate manner. While doing a course I have gone through with various kinds of
activities and challenges in order to game knowledge.

Feeling before becoming a registered nurse of the healthcare department I was a individual that
have some low confidence in their personality. After becoming a nurse I analyse that I am
become capable to communicate and provide best services to my patient in order to overcome
the symptoms and overcome the diseases which are facing by the person. During the situation
when the patient are not well my mentor support me and teach me to problems. The main aim of
this state is to get aware about the feelings of the person and also me to identify the actual
feelings of the person in order to provide best assistance(Swanepoel, Tweedie and Maher, 2016).
Evaluation this is the stage in which I talked about the evaluation of the model in order to assess
the methods and Imagine the things in order to identify the positive things about the symptoms
and problems and analyze the negative and positive activity of the condition. Analysis this stage
of the gifts reflective model support me to identify that what are the things which has been
adopted by me in order to overcome the problems (Sasidharan, 2018). According to the prior
experience I am become capable to perform the activities in a very appropriate manner so that I
can overcome the challenges. This step support me to include bad things experience and
optimistic from the situation in order to overcome the challenges.
Conclusion this is the situation in which I think about that are the activities which could be done
in the same situations. This model represent that the information which is collected while
concluding can be a amended way in order to provide best services and become a better person.
Action Plan: This is the last stage of this model that engage several things which can be
practices for applying in the same situation in order to overcome the negative things which are
experienced by me at last time.
Analysis
There are several best practices which are required by the individual in order to provide
best services and identify their ethical and professional Responsibility in the job role. It is very
required for the person to observing there responsibility and also record patient behavior in order
to deal with the patients on a daily basis (Liu, Qin, and Wang, 2018). There are specific
responsibilities which are linked with the roll and depending on the specialty and work
environment. It is also very required for the person to collect history of the patient about their
health and consulting with their families in context of their disease. According to me there is the
several responsibility of the registered nurse which is observing and interpreting their patient
symptoms so that they can identify the problems and communicate the physician. It is very
required for them to collaborate with the physician and formulate care plans for the patient. It is
also required for the desisted nodes to monitor their patient condition in order to caterer’s best
possible advice and care. As the Gibbs model help the person and allow them to analyze about
the experience in order to formulate a cyclic hydrocarbons with experience that allowed the
person to reflect on the model which is very important for me and for any individual to
understand their own capabilities and to get information from those things in a very appropriate

There are two strategies which support me to facilitate a positive transition in order to
adopt some strategies that will going to support the individual to enhance their career in
registered nurse (Yu, and Meijun, 2018). There are several strategies that assist the person in
transition from nurse to registered nurse in the workplace.
Preceptor programs and mentoring:
It is the program that will support the individual to ensure about a smooth transition
period. This program supports the person in order to ensure about the positive outcomes in the
first six month of transaction that will support them to overcome the culture shock and also
integrate activities with their practices (Morris, Fleming and Hazlett, 2020). This program
supports them to work closely with another Experience so that they can develop their
competency and gain more autonomy in patient care.
Self-care:
Is also very important strategy for the nurse in order to ensure that healthy balance among
the new responsibility of the registered nurse and their lifestyle. It is very important for the
nurses to become more conscious and aware about the importance of the healthy work life
balance in order to provide best advice to their patient.
Points for a positive transition:
Several strategies that will going to support the individual to facilitate positive transition
which is good communication good administrations staff development opportunities less work
pressure to the new graduate nurses provide some strategies like exercise of meditation and
formulate subprograms with realistic goals and it is very required for the leaders to support them
when they are dealing with death and dying patient.
These are the factors and strategies which is very important for the newly registered
message when they are experiencing some kind of difficulty in their transition period

From the above mentioned report, it has been concluded that there are several strategies
which are required to adopt by registered Nurse in order to enhance their ethical practices and
professional responsibility. It is very required for the nurse when they are using social media
platform their personal and professional use to behave ethically in order to provide best possible
care and advice. It is very required for the registered nurse when they are doing registered nurse
course to adopt some strategies which is associated to the digital citizenship in order to enhance
their career development.
