Tourism sector of UK is one of the fastest growing
sector in UK. There are many people who visit UK
for different purpose. Hence it is important to
consider sustainable growth and development of
tourism sector. Sustainable tourism refers to
analysis of current and future social, environment
and economic impact. This is considered because
of need of visitors, industry, environment and host
communities

Sustainability refers to the maintaining a level of
working through which natural resources does not
get affected. In case of tourism sector, there is
requirement of different policies through which
ecological balance of environment can be maintained
as per change in working style. Tour operates has to
make policies through which they can use natural
resources in effective manner considering future use.
Sustainable tourism is important because it affects
future growth and development of tourism sector as
social, economical and culture growth and country.
Concept of tourism is important because it makes
regular visit of people at Manchester and Liverpool
which assist in maintaining economic development
of country as tax duties, exchange currency, etc.
There are different parties who places important role

Research background
As compared to past years, trend of visiting UK
among people increase. There are different places
such as Big Ben, Tower of London, Edinburgh,
Ancient Stonehenge and Medieval Salisbury,
Wonderful Windsor, etc. which people prefer to
visit. People are visiting different places for outing,
education tour, business purpose, etc. So growth of

Techniques which are considered under research
methodology are research philosophy, research
approach, data collection, research methods,
research Design, sampling, research Ethics,
Resources.
Results
Sustainability of environment gets affected due to tourism
sector. So it Is important that people must have knowledge
about concept of sustainability, so it can be maintained. As
per view of 40 respondents, they have idea about concept
of sustainability, factors which has to be considered as
sustainability, etc. while 10 respondents does not have
knowledge. Hence it is interpreted that majority of
respondents have knowledge about sustainable tourism, so
Conclusion
From the above presented information it has been
concluded that travel and tourism industry is one of
the fastest growing sector as with the globalisation
people become more fond of travel. This in turn
increase several opportunity to grow for tour
operators as they started bring several new methods
of attracting customers to travel throughout the
world.This in turn expand the approaches of travel &
tourism organisations by getting excess to customer
that lives throughout the world.
I am glad that I got this opportunities to perform
investigation over such a broad topic i.e. “Role of
sustainable package Holiday which offers benefits to
local residing people.” A study on Trailfinder. This
investigation support me in enhancing my
knowledge regarding the travel and tourism sector
along with the manner in which activities are
performed to satisfy the need and expectation of
customer by maintaining the standards. By
performing this investigation I came to know about
the basic concept of sustainability and importance
that it holds within the industry. Apart from this I
also become able to identify the role of tourism
operator toward industry as well as responsibilities it
have toward the environment.
