INTRODUCTION
There are different activities that business can engage with in order to increase the
business profitability and these activities of the business are refereed as business
operations(Hazen And et.al., 2018). Present study is based on the organisation Rolls Royce that
is manufacturing distribution of luxury automobile having it headquarter at England, UK. Report
will include different business function and challenges in management of business operation.
Report will also include different approaches to improve service quality with respect to business
operation. Report will further include role of business operation in strategic planning and also
different models and techniques with respect to supply chain management.

Business functions that are involved in managing business operations are as following:- Planning:- In order to achieve the organisational goals, business creates a detailed action
plan in order to manage the respective business operations. Operational business plan
describes the goals of an internal organisation and its allows the business to achieve the
respective operational goals. Organising:- Business determine the way different resources are distributed in the
organisation and accordingly business organise its potential employees so that they work
with respect to set plan. Rolls Royce also identify different roles and assign them to
employees with respect to the business operation(Reid and Sanders, 2019). Coordinating:- Business works effectively to integrate different activities and also to
ensure that different business operations are running in run direction
Controlling:- Business is having an effective process in order to convert strategic plans in
operational plans.

machinery, labor and capital that Rolls Royce uses in order to prepare their final offerings. With
