b) Background
1.2 Nature of the overall engineering project
The project was all about to play role as a product engineer and deliver my section of
work in manner to contribute in the enhancement of the production and output of the
organization. I had been transferred for New Plant Setup of Roop Polymer ltd. during
which, I had to install Six Desma Rubber Injection Molding and Compression Molding
Machines. Complete Layout, procurement of required Items, Shifting all Tools and molds
Related to BAL Automotive from other RPL Units. After installation, I had to start
production and Establishing Process and Standard considering the higher standard of the
output.
1.3 Objective of the project
Following were the objectives set for the successful accomplishment of the project
considering overall success of the organization:
 To finish the installation of machines and enhance the production
 To finish the project within expected deadline

 To limit the cost of the production through keeping machines well functioning
and regular auditing
 To meet the demands of the bike selling companies
1.4 Nature of your particular work area
I had to deliver all the engineering practices for the proper and well-functioning of the
machines and their establishments within the organization. I had implemented my
engineering knowledge and management skills for enhancing the production and limiting
the defects identified during the execution of the work. I deployed the layout for the
production of the product and after designing, I carried out the feasibility analysis for
determining the effectiveness of the activities implemented within the project. I managed
the group of members working under my guidance for tracking their objectives and
motivating them to incorporate within the organizational goals and objectives.

1.6 Statement of your duties
I was responsible for the development of layout of Machines Location including
the scaling and integrating of the resources as per the needs and requirements of the
project. I designed, implemented, and refined processes, services, products, and systems
considering the objectives and goals of the organization. I predicted and analyzed the
demand of the market in the new season and executed the strategies and activities as per
the designed model for assuring that the organization would be capable of meeting the
increased demands during peak season. I managed the activities to be completed within
the expected milestone and deliver the necessary output.

CE1.7 Technical details of the work
I related the situation of the market and the production system and bring up with a
solution that can be helpful in enhancing the production and output of the organization. I
deployed the model that can boost up the productivity of the rubbers and ensure that the
meeting demands will be met in the peak season.
CE1.8 How you applied your engineering knowledge and skills
I executed the calculations and mathematical statistics for assuring that the exact
establishment of the machines and their functioning in manner to assure that the
efficiency and output of the establishment is not hampering the overall activities of the
organization. At the instances of the decision-making processes, I used math and statistics
in manner to model the production systems.

I managed the roles and responsibilities of the staffs of lower post and tried to
keep them on track. I was responsible for the identification of the numbers those could be
turned into profits for the organization. I attended every meeting regarding the daily
production considering the concern of the overall production of the organization. I
focused on the individual performance of other team members at lower hierarchy that
alternatively reflected on the overall production and growth of the organization.
CE1.10 Any particular technical difficulties/problems and how you solved
them
The peak season was the concerning subject for the organization as the demand
was about to be enhanced for multiple times. I prepared the model that can be deployed
for the outcomes of the project without affecting the quality of the product. I set the
timeline for the execution of the activities those were necessary for the development of
the project and managed to accomplish the activities before the peak season.
CE1.11 Strategies devised by you including any original or creative design
work
I identified the current situation of the market for the identification of the needs
and requirements towards the changes those needed to be implemented. After analyzing
the current and past performance of the organization, I identified the peak season and
developed the design of the work that can be helpful in meeting the changes within the
existing systems. I set the timeline for the implementation of the identified changes those
could be incorporated and feasible within the existing system. I managed the

accomplishment of the changes and installment of the additional machines for the
enhancement in the production.
CE1.12 How you worked with other team members
I was at the third hierarchy level, where I had to accomplish the activities and
goals considering the satisfaction of the lower hierarchy members and the individuals at
the higher hierarchy. I called for the installment of the machines in manner to enhance the
contribution of the employees within the production section and enhancing the output of
the organization. I was under two executives with a partner by my side and I had to
manage all the individuals from the lower hierarchy and managed their roles and
responsibilities within the organization. The project was delivered successfully due to the
contributions made by each team member of the organization in an efficient and effective
manner.
d) Summary
CE1.13 your view of the overall project
I assumed the project was complex in nature however; I managed to accomplish
the objectives and goals of the project and it was hand over within the expected timeline.
Thus, the organization was capable of meeting the demands of the peak season.

I executed the calculations and deployed the statistics that states that the
production was enhanced by 50% and the needs and requirements of the customers were
fulfilled with satisfaction.
