Introduction
I agree with the statement that one should understand Fifth Walk as Rousseau writing a
memoire in revealing to the readers on his perspective regarding the essence of personal
freedom. Drawing the illustrations from what he focused on in his writing, he mainly urged on
how life if superior. He calls life the “simple impulses of nature”. By reading his piece of work,
one would notice that, he was addressing the readers directly. His words are bound to the
illustrations between the human being and the sense of freedom with nature. Through reading his
work, one would agree with the fact that personal freedom is the genre of the modern world. His
writing can be categorized as the convergence type of writing in which he tries to address the
readers regarding his perspective about personal freedom.
Discussion
I think his work is memoire to the readers regarding the Identification of personal
surroundings and freedom. The writing is done through the experience of what is characterized
by Rousseau as the reverie. I think his point of view in this setting refers to the loss of
consciousness in the essence of self-understanding environmental requirements and demands. I
think the writing focused on the identification of the self-nature and ecological setting. Taking
the liberty of capitalization, Rousseau's writing tries to figure out how nature has been identified
as the self and solidarity ideal program. Rousseau's point of view was basically at exploring the
implications of the critical role of identifying environmental problems as associated with
personal freedom (Lane, 2006). In my understanding, I think the importance of Rousseau's
response to the problems is based on philosophical and literary models for the subsequent
writers. In other words, the key point discussed by the Rousseau was that personal freedom

defines the environmental problems and threat towards nature. In the account of the reading, the
environmental problems intimately try to denature the character of the human being.
His writing in form of the memoire tries to state that as long as the freedom is tied to the
denaturing of the environment, this will be characterized as the amour-propre which means his
passion will remain as individualistic and comparative infinitely. I think his memoire to the
readers tries to make them understand that there is power in human beings to nature. That is why
he puts it clear that human freedom has much impact on ecology. He as well states that human
character and freedom determine how nature will be. Some people use the freedom they have
been given to denature what is in ecology and nature. According to Rousseau, environmental
composition and nourishment are determined by the personal self-realization. The connection
between the Rousseau and environment has received the attention deserved. Through the
analysis of Rousseau's writing, he tries to influence the issues of nature and general treatments.
Through a better understanding of the writing, one would be able to notice that Rousseau's main
objective was to bring the idea of the human impact on environmental factors and nature (Lane,
2006). One would notice that the primary goal of Rousseau was on ecology is in conjunction
with the sense of his writing but his pursuit was an explanation of nature conservation passion.
He majorly tries to figure out the results of the ecological destruction due to human freedom over
nature. At some point, he said, “everyone has the passion to make the foundation of the
ecology”. In this statement, he tries to illustrate more on how human beings can be used as the
key foundation in either making or destroying nature. Rousseau puts it as the second discourage
on the tyrant and ecology. In the writing, the reveries walker assumes the central role of
Rousseau in the sustainability of the possible exploitation of human beings and original nature.

In my understanding of Rousseau's work, I agree with his fact that peculiar approaches
need one’s self-consciousness for a better understanding of the character in his writing. It is a
sort and limits of present within the Rousseau reveries. Through the use of personal
understanding, nature tries to figure out what is supposed to be done by the human being on
ecology basically through the application of personal freedom. I think in this writing Rousseau
tries to bring an idea of how human being has the freedom and control over nature. It can be
denoted by the fact that humans can be destructive or constructive to the ecology and nature
depending on the personal consciousness of environmental conservation (Lane, 2006). He tries to
address the readers that nature provides human sustainability. It is like the same tries to bring the
idea of how nature tries to satisfy the needs of human life and the natural world. In his writing,
he tries to figure out how the unit and freedom of human beings can bring changes in nature. One
will be able to notice that Rousseau does not guarantee the total shaping of the environment by
humankind because different people will have different motives towards nature. In other words,
the conservation of nature only depends on one's stand towards solving environmental problems.
His narrative and writings bring the debate on self-understanding help in bringing up the natural
environment. I think Rousseau was keener on how human being destroys the environmental
elements and destruction of nature given the fact they have the control of the ecology. He tries to
bring the idea of limiting the human consciousness in the account of reveries that provides the
foundation for the political disagreement between the scholars such as Buell and Marx. I think
there is a great purpose as to why Rousseau's writing was written.

I think this writing mostly appeared to be a political memoire but the collection of the
scholars’ thoughts towards the understanding of human freedom and nature. The writing was
aimed at bringing the idea of nature as oneness and togetherness in the natural setting. At first,
Rousseau identified his idea as the political stand towards the nature of human beings and their
perspective towards the environment (Lane, 2006). In his understanding, he tries to bring the
idea of the textual world towards a better understanding of nature and how it can be protected by
the unity and togetherness of the human being. It is like Rousseau's writing was both cautioning
and teaching memoire to the readers. It is through reading the same text that one can understand
the essence of the unit when it comes to matter concerning nature and ecological conservation. It
all depends on the rights and freedom of human beings to protect the ecology and environment.
Conclusion
The whole writing of Rousseau tries to figure out the essence of solidarity in nature
conservation because the human being is considered as the state of nature. I think it will require a
bit of a better understanding of the humankind on how nature should be preserved for one to
apply the same on ecological and natural building. Rousseau was isolated by his fellow human
being in society especially in his thought regarding nature and ecology. I think he had a different
understanding from any other humankind within the same environment. He could notice some of
the issues facing the environment were due to human recklessness and wrong utilization of the
given freedom. He later suggested that freedom could be destructive if the human being is not
keen on what is happening in the environment and what should be done towards the conservation
of nature. In other words, Rousseau tries to bring about the idea that freedom is of no use if the
same will be applied in the wrong way towards conservation and maintenance of nature.
Rousseau in his aspiration and understanding of the political nature in the conservation of the

isolated from the environment and the fellow human being. He thinks in his writing that nobody
is willing to understand what nature requires but he addresses the same by use of his tactical
piece of writing. I think Rousseau is trying to make him-self available to others by bringing in
the idea of how the environment and nature can be protected and maintained by the use of human
freedom and control. I think in his piece of writing he tries to bring the idea of the solidarity
among all human being across the board as this unity will be of great importance in nature
conservation. In his ideal of the limit losing of people, he tries to discover the nature within
everyone. He convinces the readers that everyone should live in a natural state. This means that
living in nature is a better term to use to mean protecting our living environment.
