INTRODUCTION
Human resource is defined as the set of people who make up the workforce of business
sector, organisation, industry as well as economy. It is the division of an organisation that is
related to finding, recruiting, screening, provide training and administrating employee benefits
programme. HR department plays important role in helping organisation to deal with fast-
changing business environment. In this report chosen organisation is Royal Mail which is British
multinational postal service as well as courier organisation established in 1516n by King Henry.
It serve in the area of United Kingdom and headquarter situated in London, England, UK. This
report covers the factors that impact the development of effective HR strategy and how Royal
Mail achieve business goals through aligning HR strategy and business strategy. Along with that
methods of creating positive employment relationship and climate in business environment are
mentioned in this project report.

Factors that impacting development of HR strategies
HR strategies are defined as the policies that are adopted by the organisation with the
objective of integrating business culture, its employees as well as system through coordinating
their actions in order to attain business goals and objectives. There are various internal and
external factors that impacts business business human resource strategies and policies.
Organisation analyse these factors and develop effective policies for attaining business goals and
objectives in efficient manner. These factors in the context of Royal Mail are mentioned below:
Organisational Culture: Culture is defined as the organisational norms, beliefs and other
aspects that impacts business performance and functional in efficient manner. If employees are
less motivated in an organisation than it impacts business HR strategies. If business has no
effective and strong business environment than it may faces various problems and issues like
