3. Project delivery life cycle methodologies
PMI/PMBOK is the project delivery life cycle methodologies which is used to guide
the standards of the project management. The process delivery steps based on the case
study are as follows:
Initiation: Under this methodology, the project manager defines the start of new
project and new phases of the existing infrastructure of Royal Pizza.
Planning: When the project scope is meet, then the project objectives are also
achieved. Executing: There is execution of the work which are defined into the
project plan (Kerzner,, 2017).
Monitoring and controlling: The project manager also reviews and regulates the
project progress plus its performance.
Closing: There is conducting of all the project activities across the process groups
those are close to the project work.
Methods and processes used to monitor the project successfully and ways to measure
are as follows:
The cost performance of the project is provided with an indications that the planned
budget is enough to complete the project work. Schedule performance of this project is
provided with a planned schedule as well as dates to reach and complete the plan on time.
The project work is also monitored by determination of the schedule and cost variances to
track if the project is on schedule or behind the schedule (Nicholas & Steyn, 2017).
Similarly, it is also determined if the cost is under budget or over budgeted. When it is
seen that the project duration is exceed with a planned duration by 20%, the proper
project actions are to be taken to meet with the targets of the project.

6PROJECT MANAGEMENT
The project plan is influenced by the project changes which are caused due to sudden
addition to any resources in the project and delay in the plan. A detailed project scope as
well as project requirements with the customer will reduce changes into the project and
the customers and clients are satisfied with the services. At the time when there is
deviation from planned project values, then there is a change request which are required
to meet with the planned project values (Milosevic & Martinelli, 2016). A change
implementation plan will require to minimize the risks due to project plan changes. The
project stakeholders are also informed of project changes so that there are informed of the
changes which are occurred into the plan. As there is change in previous project plan,
scope as well as targets, then the project stakeholders are required to notify about
changes.
