INSTRUCTIONS
TAELNN411A - Address adult language, literacy and
numeracy skills
This unit requires evidence of having determined the LLN requirements of a
learning program and a student group. It further requires that you have
modified resources. You need to have selected and used assessments and
instructional strategies at an appropriate level for the established LLN level of
the group and the program.
Candidate Instructions: Provide two examples of having determined the LLN level of
training and assessment requirements and having selected relevant instructional
strategies, customised learning resources and assessment processes based on the needs
of the learner group.
Please note: the first example will focus on determining the LLN level of the training and
the second example is focused on the assessment process. Each example must have a
different course used to determine the LLN needs of the learner group.

One thing that I did well while providing LNN support is showing the
learner different audio visual power point presentations and lectures for
better understanding.
b) How did you come to this conclusion?
Based on the feedback I gathered from the learners and by analyzing
those feedbacks I understood that most of the students gave positive
feedback on my teaching method of different audio visual powerpoint
presentations.

d) How did you come to this conclusion?
Many students wrote this statement that the questionnare needs to be
more organised.
2. Reflect on your assessment strategies and evaluate your feedback
collected. Answer the following:
a) What was one thing you did well?
b) How did you come to each conclusion for example. What did you
discover through evaluating your learner feedback and/or upon
self-reflection?

reviewing the assessment feedback forms 3 out of 5 candidates
believed……
I explained all the required things to the learners in a well-organized
manner.
Through evaluating learner feedback and based on self-reflection, I
discovered that learners are facing maximum problem in reading and oral
development.
Next time I would provide more pressure on improving the reading and oral
development of learners, as well as reducing grammatical errors.
While checking the assessment papers and feedback forms, I saw that most
of the learners are facing grammatical issues while writing. With that, while
conducting verbal communication, learners are facing difficulty in oral
speaking.

evaluate your training and assessment performance?
a) How did you go about using Self Reflection to evaluate your
performance in training and assessment?
To evaluate my performance in training and assessment using self-reflection, I
have analyzed my core competencies with the theoretical framework of LNN. I
first prepared common criteria for marking learners or grading them as per
their learning. And then based on the criteria i prepared for marking learners, I
analyzed and marked their performance.
b) How did you go about using your Learner Feedback collected to
evaluate your performance?
To evaluate my performance using the learner feedback collected, I will provide
it to one of my peers to provide feedback on the same assessment and then
analyze my feedback with the feedback of my peer.
