Operation management is most important factor which aids to perform various activities
of organisation. There are different department which perform various functions of organisation
in order to expand business in different place which aids to enhance profit level. (Bahn, 2013).
Its main objective is to allocate different resource such as raw material, capital human resource
and many other so that it helps to accomplish different types of task in a systematic manner. It
also helps to enhance the performance of different types of operation which are perform within
the organisation. The operational manager put their effort in order to perform different types of
operation in effective manner. They implement different types of strategies in order to convert
the raw materials into qualitative products. Proper utilisation of resource aids to provide
effective service to the different customer within stipulated time period. It also aids to retain
long term relationship with the customer by providing different types of service to them.
Implementation of new and advance technology aids to perform different types operation in short
time period. It aids to generate large number of revenues and make strong brand image in the
marketplace. The Road and transport Authority is the government authority which perform its
operation in expanding metro project in Sharjah. This authority already provide service in Dubai.
This unit has discussed about the work breakdown structure which is used in Project life Cycle
and also determine the effectiveness implementation of PLC.

The main objectives of operational management is to prepare effective plan to construct
the different part of the metro (Hatziargyriou, 2014). Every company has different types of
department which helps to perform different types of function of organisation and there are large
number of employee working in the organisation in order to perform various function within
organisation. In order to increase the productivity of the organisation the management of RTA
should implement new and innovative technology which aids to increase the skills and
knowledge of employee working in organisation. The manager of organisation prepare different
types of strategies in order to accomplish various operation of the company. These strategies and
policies aids to regulate different types of functions which are related to manufacture of
different part of the metro. These strategies are implemented in different department working

in the organisation which are involving in different department of the company (Fang, Han
and Chen, 2012).
In order to perform different types of functions operational manager of the needs to redesign
structure of the organisation as well is its culture in order to accomplish different types of
operations in effective manner. The manager of RTA should prepare new and innovative
strategies in order to determine the condition of market trends and measure the existing
operation processes. To construct new and innovative products it leads to determine the various
strategies which are implemented by different rivals present in the marketplace.
Operation management Principles: In order to manufacture new products in the different
country there some principle which are followed by the operational management in order to
implement different types of strategies which are describe below:

the company. The manager of organisation needs to implement different types of strategies in
order to resolve or modify different problems. Instead of backing out of from different issues,

Accountability: The manager of the RTA needs to set rules and regulations by
comparing metric for determination of the actual output against expected targets. This is
