that she is fallen for him then makes the plans to meet him. Then suddenly, money issues arises
and ask financial helps from the man so that they able to help with her travelling charges. There
are various types of issues which arises from the girl (scammers) in travelling such as passport,
visa, tickets, travel insurance, money to pay off loan, sales taxes on her apartment, emergency
medical expenses, bail money, ransom money etc. (Vagi and et.al., 2013). If these also not
enough they can ask for the luxury items such as cell phones and clothes. Here, the girl act like
she is very poor can't afford the house, mobile phones but truly loves him. Through which more
men gets attracted. Moreover, the victim of the scam never realizes that behind all the seductive
pictures and behind all the love and passionate letters hides a misanthropic, artful, and sleek
mastermind of the crime. These scammers do the dating on the big, popular websites so that no
one able to understand the real intention of the scammers. There are some phases of the scam in
which she finds the victims then attracts him by her photos. Then in second step, she grooms the
victims so that the victim fully gets in the trap of that scammer girl (Leen and et.al., 2013). Third
phase is about the asking money so that she able to meet him and for that she asks for money by
stating various issues in her life. If the man gets trapped then she takes money from him and gets
disappeared.

Phase 1: Finding the Victims
The first stage in the scam is that Russian girls searches the single men from different
countries such as USA, Europe etc. through visiting their profile on the websites. In addition to
this, some time scammer also focuses on using social media sites such Facebook, My space or
other website for finding the victim for scam.
Phase 2: “Grooming” the victims
After finding the perfect victim scammer groom the victim by talking and send images of
her. She also groom the victim through telephonic conversation and talking regarding their
wildest and erotic fantasies. The Russian girl will also engage in writing letters and email to the
boy.
Phase 3: Asking for money
After grooming the victims scammer has established the deeply love within the victim
and become eager to meet him. The scammer ask regarding the visa amount so that men can send

scammer claims that travel operator has not accepted the credit card and they are forcing to
transfer the money.
Phase 4: Milking the victim for money for as long as possible
