Macey Hargreaves
Introduction
The purpose of this proposal is to state the issues associated in the implementation of SAAS
cloud computing methods in the organisation and to derive a better option other that the selected
technology.
Issues to explore
Cloud computing technique will provide a lot of enhancements to the organisation but the main
aspect is to know and understand the difference between the techniques that separates their
functionality and uses of the technology. The major issue of implementing SAAS method of
cloud computing services arises in its methodologies. The implementation of SAAS, no doubt is
a good solution but the benefits provided in PAAS is much more efficient for the organisation. In
SAAS, the access to the codes is secured by the developers of the platform and is not provided to
the clients. This denied access makes the upgrading of the system impossible for the organisation
and has to rely on the core developers of the system (Hou, n.d.). The pricing strategy of SAAS

does not allow customization of price according to the required functionalities rather implements
subscription based pricing strategy. SAAS provides a limited choice of themes or templates
available for use and requires payment for accessing these templates and themes. The main
advantage of SAAS is that the organisation is not required to do anything and just rely on the
service providers for all the tasks. This also imposes the biggest disadvantage as due to no access
in the technology’s core codes, no desired changes can be made within the organisation (Freet et
al., 2015).
Investigative Technique
The investigative techniques used to present the report will mainly base on the survey of uses of
this technology by various organisations. Many organisation and firms has integrated the uses of
the types of cloud technology available in their organisations. Some among these firms and
organisations also has undergone the trial and error method to understand the processing of the
services provided by the different types of cloud computing. Investigations will also be
conducted and performed by researching through the wide range of literatures presented by
various authors and professionals who compiled their researches in form of reports, papers and
articles. Testing of the cloud services types will also be performed to ensure the difference and
the benefits that the applications of the specific type of cloud computing will provide to the
organisation (Gibson et al., 2012).
People and resources
The peoples involved in performing the investigations and creating the report includes the
employees and individuals working in the Macey’s organisation under the Technology and
Design Team. It will also include the General Manager, Administration Manager, and the Chief
Executive Officer of the Macey’s organisation.
The resources that will be included in the process of investigation include various technologies
such as computers systems, internet routers, research articles and case studies, and support from
the team.
