Overview
• Background: To maintain safe medication administration, patient
safety and healthy work place is important. It is beneficial for the patients,
nurses (Adhikari et al. 2015).
• Objectives:. Providing better health care to the patient is one of the
objectives. To do that a healthy workplace and application of safe
medication administration is needed to the nurses (Hall et al. 2016).
• Outline of the topic:. This topic will be analyzed through the
introduction, importance of the issues and how to improve the situation.
• Conclusion: To provide better health care, hospital authority should
stressed on safe medication administration, patient safety and healthy
workplace.

• Introduce your topic: Safe medication administration will help to improve
patient safety and create a healthy work place is important issue for both patients
and nurses (Gunningberg et al. 2014).
• Explain the significance of the topic: Improvement of safe
medication administration is needed. Patient safety will decrease the harm rate
which will be good for the patient. To provide better health care to the patient,
hospital authority should provide healthy work place to the nurses (Smeulers et al.
2015)
• what is the problem: The main problem is medicinal errors. To
reduce it safe medication administration is needed.
• why is it a problem: Medicinal error is a disaster treatment process
which is harmful for patients.
• why is this issue important: To prevent this unintentional error
safe medication administration in important (Abukhader 2015).

Objectives
• What are you aiming to teach/demonstrate?
Transformational leadership, participative leadership are important to
maintain safe medication administration (Merrill 2015). To improve health care
health service providers should utilize the positive aspects of these two
theories. Six rights of safe medication administration should taught to the
nurses for preventing the medicinal error (Hayes et al. 2015). World health
organization create a regulation to reduce medicinal errors (World Health
Organization 2019).
How are you going to teach/demonstrate?
To demonstrate this important issue authority should conduct seminar and
classes and interactive sessions. These leadership theory will give the idea
how to improve leadership skill and how to deal with patient.
