consult with registered physician and get antibiotics injections when require to maintain their
health & safety. The adults and middle aged people take precautions by their own to avoid health
problems, injuries, incidents or accidents to safeguard them (El and Bouabdallah, 2018).

Research questions
How to identify the basic knowledge related to health, safety and safeguarding in life?
What are the effective strategies for ensuring proper health, safety and safeguarding
throughout the lifespan?
How to analyse the role of healthcare practitioners in terms of health, safety and
safeguarding of people through their lives?
Rationale of the research
In context of this investigation, it is important to carry out study to evaluate more
effective as well as efficient strategies which are suitable to ensure health, safety and
safeguarding of an individual throughout their lifespan (Stewart and MacIntyre, 2017). It is
observed that many of people are not aware about potential precautions due to which they have
faced severe health issue or injuries. However, it is significant to identify appropriate practices
which can be further converted in guidelines for people to maintain their health and safety in
proper manner. Moreover, it is essential to evaluate more innovative actions which plays an
important role to ensure health, safety and safeguarding within the entire lifespan of human
beings (Petti, 2018).
Chapter 2: Literature Review
The basic knowledge related to health, safety and safeguarding in life
The health, safety and safeguarding of an individual is mostly depends upon their own
regular activities and practices. As per views given by Acharya (2019), it includes the fact that
injuries of health problems can be easily prevented with the help of taking several precautions
related to diet, intake of other substances and conduct different activities on daily basis.
However, it has been analysed that an individual has number of duties regarding their health
safety that are mentioned here. Initially, it is necessary to carry out proper assessment of related
risk factors along with evaluating effective ways to overcome with the same. Secondly, it is
required to maintain health & safety at work place by applying appropriate methods or
procedures including secure equipments. Thirdly, it is important render accurate information,
knowledge, learning and training in regards to secure working techniques along with maintain

healthy working environment (Damaraju, 2017). It is essential to make sufficient availability of
safety devices and equipment along with promoting effective cooperation between staff members
for ensuring about maintenance of safety at work place. The risk factor of individuals can be
occur from different factors such as optimization in state of health, poorly development of
economic factor, etc. The safeguarding is highly necessary in children as they are more prone to
abuse and neglect. There are many children who are living with their non-biological parents in
which the risk of abuse is occur. The adult and young person faces neglect and abuse from their
surroundings. As the highly attracted to their surroundings which involve them to take part in
various activities which harm their safeguarding (Arrey, 2019). The use of substance and other is
also a risk factor in safeguarding people and their friends or family. The culture and social factor
also cause neglect and abuse in the life of people which develops dress in their development of
physically, emotionally and mentally. The social factors include unemployment discrimination
which develops risk of neglect among people and it is also a threat of safeguarding people as it
also developed several barriers among individuals from which they cannot develop properly.
The effective strategies for ensuring proper health, safety and safeguarding throughout the
lifespan
According to the Harlow and Smith (2016), the effective strategies should be applied by
everyone in their lives for maintaining health, safety and safeguarding within entire life. It
includes more effective as well as efficient practices which ate mentioned here. Firstly, people
should follow healthy lifestyle which must contain intake of healthy diet, regular exercise,
regular check-ups, avoid harmful substances etc. Secondly, a person is required to remain
focussed and careful while carrying out any kind of tasks regularly to avoid relevant injuries or
incidents for safeguarding themselves. There are also different strategies that are developed by
non-Government and government authorities. They implement different laws and legislation for
the welfare of people so that they can reduce abuse and neglect among them. Their aim is to
deliver safeguarding two people from their lifespan so that their proper health and wellbeing can
be achieved. The implementation of this factor reduces the risk of harm that develops due to
various other factors which are related to individual’s life. There are some factors occur from

quality of services among people by healthcare professionals. The healthcare professionals can
also conduct various seminar and inspection from which we can regularly assess the impact of
factors on people. This helps them in providing safeguarding to vulnerable people (Boggis,
2018).
Chapter 3: Research methodology
Qualitative research methods will be focussed in order to analyse study about effective
strategies of safeguarding to gain appropriate findings. It is favourable because of gaining in-
depth details about the selected research problems which provide support to achieve accurate
results (Glesne, 2016). However, it is focussed on the characteristics of target population which
is more suitable to carry out this investigation.
Data sources: There are two types of data resources are occur that are primary and
secondary. The primary resources provide information by structure questionnaire and this is
occur from newly information. The secondary sources provide information from data that are
already occur.
Ethical consideration: At time of conducting research, it is necessary to conduct
primary and secondary research in an appropriate manner. So while conducting research it is
necessary to consider ethics so that confidentiality informed consent beneficence and autonomy
can be considered. The researcher must follow ethical consideration in both primary and
secondary research (Acharya, 2019).
Sampling: This is an effective process for selecting sample size within research. The
sampling occur in in two manner which are probability and nonprobability. In this research, the
sample size in select on random basis is 40 respondents will be selected.

Chapter 4: Data Analysis and Interpretation
Gantt chart: - This refers to a tool that provides representation about schedule which assists
in coordination track and plan specific task within a project (Scholl, 2018). It is a horizontal bar
