INTRODUCTION
Presently, children also have the right to get protected from any sort of harm and for this,
several guidelines are developed and set out for them in order to keep them safe and respond
towards the child protection concerns (Mason and et. al., 2020). For this, safeguarding policy is
undertaken as it is related with effectively protecting young people and children and also
supported by governance, health and safety and so on. Safeguarding policy depict the detailed
guidelines and instructions in order to support safeguarding policy statement and also related
with safety of children and their well-being. In regard of this, report tends to cover the
background information regarding the policy and concerning government which is related with

BACKGROUND

regarding the health among individuals.
Moreover, the policy is also supported by the Public Health England and their roles is to
enhance and safeguard the overall population, their health and well-being in order to eliminate
health inequalities. It is also useful to the local authorities of the country in terms of
commissioning for the health visitors and nursing services that leads to deliver suitable care of

tends to offer effective framework regarding the support of health visitors. For this, the overall
objective is to help people in order to make effective and strong bond with their children and also
leads to support in order to make their children safe, healthy with the objective of protecting
them from any sort of misshapen. In regard of this, local authorities also tends to plays an
important role in order to offer suitable funds for making sure effective protection and well-being
of individuals.

Apart from considering the benefits of policy, it also undertake some issues which are
required in terms of promoting health and overall wellness within the population of the nation. In
this, the staffing of healthcare workers and visitors tends to become the major concern of the
