Factors that could contribute to a CHILD being abused
There are various factors that contribute to a child being abused. These are like:
Poor health: If person’s health is not good then others can bully individual which is situation of
psychological abuse.
Environment: If individual belongs from a poor family or live in different environment then people would
not accept and hurt them emotionally.
Inform the respective manager to take appropriate action to protect an adult.
Decide next action and check workers and their activities.
Arrangement of adult protection conference where all the employees are being aware with abusing

Inquiry report has identified that there is absence of
good practices. There were 12 key occasions that could
help in preventing Victoria.
This report has highlighted widespread organisational
malaise.It has shed light on risks faced by the person
and neglecting aspect from care departments.
Baby Peter Haringey council has inquired the case. As per this
council, Peter was a 17-months-old English boy who
died after suffering from more than fifty injuries within
8 months only. From this report, it can be concluded
that proper investigation was not performed by the
council.
Steven Hoskins The report has described deficiencies in investigation.
This has improved local inter agency practices. As per
this report, it has confirmed that Steven had taken
paracetamol tablets, had been drinking alcohol and
sustained recent injuries from cigarette burns. This
report has a huge impact on the inspection which has to
be proper and effective which is very essential for such
cases which are helpful in relation to vulnerable people.
Michael Gilbert Bedfordshire Council reported into the torture
and death of Michael Gilbert. According to this
report, they have tortured and forced him to work
as a slave in Watt's family. It is mentioned that
officers disbelieve the whole incidence of
Gilbert. This report helped to do fine research on
the crime to get complete information out.
Khyra Ishaq Birmingham Social Service review into
starvation and death of Khyra Ishaq. As per this

report, it was mentioned that a lock was there in
the kitchen room to keep Khyra away from the
food. It was also reported that there were 60
injuries on her body. Report found that her death
could have been prevented. This death could be
prevented as safeguarding procedures were not
properly followed.
Harold Shipman He was a serial killer and has murdered approx. 250
people. According to the report, he was found dead. He
had hanged himself. This case has highlighted
widespread organisational discomfort in the community.
