WHAT IS SAFEGUARDING?
Safeguarding is various actions, steps that are undertaken by
individual to provide care and protection to children and adults so
that they can be saved from various harm or risk present in
external environment.
Thereby, protecting adults from abuse and maltreatment like
physical, financial, sexual, psychological, organizational and
financial abuse thus promoting the health and development of
children (James and et.al., 2017).
Therefore, it can be stated that safeguarding also ensured that all
necessary action are taken for safety and care of both adults and
children for better outcome.

Personalized centred care is one of the 13 fundamental standard
care which healthcare provider required to abide while delivering
services to number of individual in the society.

SCENARIO
One of the my pupils was named as John which was six
year old whom I have trained History lessons since last five
years. Recently, I noticed that it has become more vocal and
confidence level has been enhanced in the classroom.
Moreover, during a lesson Freddie and its friend were talking to
each other in loud peach, so I went and discovered that they
were looking at one of the school female teachers picture on
mobile phone.
The phone belong to John and the picture was sexually explicit.
After the class, John stated that the teacher has send the picture
to him when they have met outside the school on some occasion.

Effective communication is not juts about sharing of

understanding of emotions, intention being the share message.
Thereby effective communication involve clear convey of
message, better listening of what has being said by others.
Listening: It is an important element of communication related
to providing care to patient as it involves giving him attention and
acknowledging any emotional signs in their history without
judging them. Thus, listening encourage patient to share
its felling or express its fear and depression so that better
treatment can be provided to patient.
