Knowledge Assessment 2 – Short answer questions
1.1 PCBU
The employer has to provide appropriate PPE or Personal Protective
equipments
PCBU should also have a proper compensation and emergency handing

The manufactures should execute appropriate investigation process to
ensure that the chemical containing vessel are completely good in
condition

1.3 Suppliers
The Suppliers should ensure that the chemical containing vessel are
completely good in condition, which could not lead to any leakage
The suppliers have to ensure that all the containers have correct labeling
with pipe-work, using warning placards and displaying safety signs

Guidance: Refer to sections 13 to 17 of the WHS Act 2011.
The underpinning principles of WHS act is to ensure well obligations
of duties and responsibilities of the employers and employees to
ensure the occupational health and safety, where the duties and
responsibilities allocated to different parties could not be transferred
to others. Any individual office associates could have more than 1 duty
and more than 1 person could have same duty. Principle of risk
management and audit is another major obligation.
