Interpretation : There are various safety practices that have been integrated within the
construction industry. From the above table, it can be stated that a total of 25 respondents said
that one of the safety practices that are integrated within the construction industry of New
Zealand is that the construction sit should be inspected on a regular basis in order to identify any
risks that might prevail within the industry. On the other hand, 10 respondents stated that
workers should always be equipped with the appropriate equipments. Lastly. 15 respondents
stated that the workers on the construction site should be provided with regular training in order
to make sure that their skill levels are upgraded as well as their knowledge about the latest trends
within the construction sector is enhanced.

New Zealand has set some safety rules as well as regulations. When the respondents were asked
about the same, 20 of them stated that Regulation employment relations is one of the rules that
the government has set within the industry. 10 respondents stated that health and safety was a
regulations set by the government of New Zealand in order to promote safety within the
construction industry. Lastly, there were 10 respondents who stated that an adequate supply of
clean drinking water was a rule while the remaining 10 respondents stated that appropriate
facilities for first aid is a rule for the safety of workers within the construction industry. These
rules and regulations that are set by the government are important because they ensure that the
workers are safe while working on the construction site.

expected to follow in order to remain safe from any kind of risks or accidents on the site. These
are important and 15 respondents stated that there is a decrease in the risk of injuries due to
practising safety procedures within the industry. Besides this, a total of 15 respondents stated that
safety procedures reduce the risk of work related injuries that can be caused due to minor
accidents within the workplace. Lastly, a total of 20 respondents stated that safety practices
during construction are important because they minimize the accidents that are associated during
the construction of sites. Therefore, it can be said that by practising safety procedures during
construction can help in improving the work related conditions and thus, allow the workers to do
their jobs in an efficient manner.

Interpretation : From the above table, it can be stated that there are various safety equipments
that should be used by the workers during construction. On asking the respondents about this, it
was found that 10 respondents stated that scaffold is one of the construction equipments that
should be used during the construction. On the other hand, the workers are also supposed to wear
helmets during the construction because they are protective equipments that keep the workers
safe while they carry out their jobs. Lastly, 20 respondents stated that there are welding shields
that the workers should always use in order to avoid any kind of accidents and harm to their eyes
during the construction process. Therefore, it can be stated that these safety equipments should
be used at all times in order to make sure that the workers are able to perform in an effective
manner and thus, ensure that the work conditions are maintain at the most efficient levels.

Interpretation: From the above mention information, it has been stated that there are 25
respondents and according to them the workers should be well equipped with the gear. Through
this, they will be protective and not facing Proper equipment any kind of issue while
construction. There are 10 respondents and as per their opinion that workers should have the
better pair of the shoes so that they can be protective. 15 respondents said that workers should
have the helmets for their proper safety. The safety helmets give protection against the injuries
from bumping into electrical conductors and fixed objects which may lead to the injury.
