Employee relation refers to the organisation efforts to create a good relationship between
all members of an organisation. HR of an organisation use different strategies and policies for
maintaining a healthy relationship between employee & management. Employee relation assist
organisation in motivating their employees which enhance productivity & efficiency of
employee & organisation. For retaining their employees for a long period of time its necessary
for organisation to maintain good environments in organisation. For this report Sainsbury is
taken into consideration. It is the second largest retail company established in 1869. its
headquarter is in London, England, UK. It includes different hypermarket, superstores,
supermarket, forecourt shop and convenience shop. It deals in almost all kinds of products such
as food, electronic products, grocery, fruits & vegetables etc. It is an multinational company and
almost 116,400 workers are working in organisation. This report includes values and importance
of employee relation along with fundamentals of employment law in the context of selected
company. Along with this different right and duties of employee & employers and analysis
impact of stakeholders in an organisation are involved in this report.

is very important. It will assist organisation in retaining their employees in organisation for a
