INTRODUCTION
Human Resource Management refers to making the use of right strategies and tactics so
that the managers of a particular company are able to attain goals and objectives by effectively
motivating the employees to ensure that they work to their maximum potential (Delery and
Roumpi, 2017). The HR Department has to play a major role in the organizations which ensures
that these organizations are able to get the best performance out of the workers and are able to
care about their well-being. For this report, Sainsbury's has been chosen. It is a multinational
company which deals in various types of products related with the customers. In this report,
focus will be made on explanation of the purpose and scope of HRM, evaluation of the
effectiveness of its elements, analysis of different types of factors. Additionally, application of
HRM practices in a work-related context will also be discussed as a part of this project.
